I'm not going to the parade. I need prep time for the game.

whoops....you're right. So the tailgate at the golf course? Does it cost anything to get in or just the drinks and food?

eta....costs 90$ but it does include everything. Forget that.....I'll be hanging out at someone's parking spot.

I totally stand corrected buddy! You are a Duck. And you easily explained some split loyalties and your vantage point. Yes, as you stated there are many new bandwagons. I just assumed you were one of them. While I do not mind new bandwagons(those that have decided to be Duck fans only recently due to our success...) They can sometimes be annoying. If you must know, I just assumed, and wrongly so, that you were a guy that had lived a few years in Oregon and thus you considered yourself a Duck as a result. And well, as stated I saw you once type that you were a LSU fan first, and that confused me about you.

But you cleared it all up. Thank you. I stand corrected. A)You have lived in Oregon a very long time. So its not like you dont know what your talking about. B)You followed UO and supported UO football and attended UO games back when we sucked. That right there has made me respect you buddy! I will not dog you anymore

And you are right. UO football fans may not get into the tailgating or cooking part of it near what SEC or especially how LSU fan do. But do they have to? WHo says? That is a Southern Thing, in IMHO. It probably comes out of the deep Souths tradition of being a bible belt area and Potlucks probably. I am not a expert on it, but I would venture to say this gave this contributed and blended into the Football atmosphere. And besides the general SEC- LSU fans probably get their great love of partying in general from Marti Gra(sp?)and a whole different list of reasons why and such. There is no doubt to me on the later theory. And saying that, food and cooking and just hanging out, everything being really slow, taking ones time, fellowshiping that way, it is easily a deep south thing.

Anyways, that is very cool that you went to UO games back when we sucked. You asked about me, and I am probably 2 years actually older then you(going by your math you listed) and I was a Duck from as early as I can remember as a small child. I too remember the sucking.

And you are right, it does not matter what people think. Sorry for blasting ya some. You just listed too many oddities for me and I figured you were just another poser until just now.

Nice to have you on board. Thanks for supporting UO Football even during lean times. And hopefully we beat Wisky and get us a RB win and shut those Fuskies up for good on the subject.

Everyone parks/tailgates on the course... as in on the fairways. It's pretty awesome. Definitely no need to pay for the "official" tailgates!

If I could come join that would be great. I'm going with my mom, stepdad, and nephew and plan on ditching them til gametime. No way I'm hanging out with those boring people

Sweet! Sounds like fun. The only time I've ever partied on a golf course is when they were closed

I'm so ready for the game.
