Failure to monitor = bowl ban. According to the most recent case.

Aggravating circumstances such as the arrogance of your administration and the continuing violations even after the investigation had started is what got you guys the bowl ban. "I just hope the head coach doesn't fire me" does not exactly get the committee on your good side.

I wouldn't call believing your HC - arrogance. JT lied - tOSU throwing him under the bus because of allegations seems cowardly until they had the true facts.

There's a looong time poster on one of UW boards that is friends with (and talks frequently with) one of the guys on the Oregon case. He has posted about him way before any of the Oregon stuff came out, so everybody has already known all of his sources for a long time. Anyways, the details that he found out today are verrry similar to what USC got. Pretty much the same penalties. We should find out in the next few weeks if he's right though or what the penalties actually are.

Hopefully not. Seems to me that would be more of a punishment than deserved imo.

I figured when Kelly spurned the NFL there was little on the horizon, prior to that I figured he was gettin' out of town Pete Carroll style

Well USC got hammered pretty hard considering their coaches weren't really directly involved with the wrongdoings. The worst thing in the eyes of the NCAA is direct coach involvement, which Oregon did. In a nutshell, that's the main reason this guy is saying that Oregon is going to get those penalties that he mentioned.

Oregon is dirty as frick. It's a consensus in recruiting circles. They also have the golden Nike ticket in avoiding getting punished

I remember when people would call me out for saying that Oregon was dirty.

Now, other programs are dirty too, but Oregon might be a little more over the top with it. Or they just suck at covering shite up.

Our recruiting guys have been saying it for a while but I take that with a grain of salt. I've followed Texas HS recruiting for a while, and there's a lot of other people who have followed it much longer than me, and when they are confused as to how Oregon is getting these players from Texas it sets off something

The NCAA is a bunch of self serving hypocritical scumbags. Big time CF recruiting is dirty by nature, it's just Oregon's turn to get nailed.

TDAWG - you having nocturnal emissions over this shite?

Your source is a long time leg humper poster, huh? Let me guess: Ecklund or Grinolds? Both of those guys have been wrong the whole time and positing conspiracy theories from the beginning. Btw, Oregon is headed towards a summary disposition (avoids the committe of infactions) and there is no way in hell that Oregon wouldn't fight a bowl ban.

Dawg fans are very delusional when it comes to the Ducks. Taking an arse pounding 8 years straight years will do that.

Summary disposition

I have said from the beginning that Oregon gets probation, 2-3 schollies reduced over several years and limited recruiting contact.

Read that article and tell me it look anything like the SC investigation.
