I hope Lane takes a long long while to get the USC Train back on the tracks..but typical Pac-10 s@ckage and softness will fast-track that unfortunately.

Doesn't Oregon return almost their entire team next season? Anybody know how many seniors they start?

You don't fire proven coordinators after 1 bad year.

i dont think oregon is going away soon. chip kelly is a hell of a coach and oregon has more money than anyone.

they can plug anyone into their system bc they recruit to the system. also with his style you know the nfl isn't coming after kelly so its safe to say as long as kelly has the drive to coach oregon will be a force. they could make some sick runs

Lane seems to be a guy that would have no hesitation in cleaning house after a bad season. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get rid of all his defensive coaches.

USC has some money too. Although the sanctions will obviously affect when they return to the top of the PAC

Yeah, he looks to be able to recruit better than Bellotti, and/or that the Duck program and Nike dough's facilities has Oregon at a plateau further along than say the late 90s/'00s.

Coupled with USC's troubles. I could see where they may well go head-to-head vs USC and win for some of Cali's best ballers in SoCal.
