Yes when the sample size is big enough. Its hilarious you use a sample size of 3 & 6 games while dismiss an entire career of one qb being statistically far better than the other qb.

Last I checked, points won football games, not yards.

This is absolute gold coming from a Peyton fan.

Thats not the same defense.

Statistics say otherwise. There was hardly a drop off. Yeah, they were giving up just under 2 points more per game. But they were also giving up 6 yards less a game, too.

Still good enough to be #3 in the NFL against the run. They stonewalled the Patriots running game by the way. Brady had to air mail it against the best secondary in the NFL to win....and he succeeded.

What about playoff rating? You know, since you're the one who brought it up. Brady > Peyton over that too.

Is it? I don't know, doesn't Peyton Manning have the most touchdowns in NFL history?

Majority of the second half...Brady was chunking the ball every play. GOAT.

There are at least seven qbs I take over Manning.

1. Unitas. Period.
2. Montana
3. Elway
4. Marino
5. Baugh
6. Brady
7. Pisarcick.

Manning has also had far superior offensive talent surrounding him for much of his career.

You still want to use rating?

Did the entire team throw a pick six against the Saints in the Super Bowl several years back? Or how about that pick six against he Seahawks last year?

Yes brady has been the better qb in the 6 games than Manning has been in his 3. Manning's career statistics and individual accomplishments dwarf Brady's. Again Manning has to carry his team because he has never had any defense close to being #1 defense while brady has.

And a lower td/int rate than Brady.

In their primes when they were playing the best football of their respective lives. And there would have been a draft. Manning would be picked before Brady 8/10 times.

Thats just not true. Better? yes. Far Better? No. When Peyton missed a season, that offensive talent won 2 games and went from division winner in 2010 to 4th in 2011.
When Brady missed his season, the Pats went 11-5.

Speaking of 11-5, how have the Colts done since then?

Football is the biggest team sport so there will never be a true answer to these debates
