not last night. 5/14 in regulation i believe, with AT LEAST 2 dunks. durant was shooting horribly last night

i still can't believe the thunder didn't give durant the ball at the end of regulation

he couldn't get free, just like every game this series. he's either completely owned or not trying hard enough

he's the best scorer in the league. Get him the fricking ball.

he needs to start shooting better

he sucked dick in regulation yesterday and at the end of game 3. he missed jumper after jumper

Also, you are not taking into account what Durant does for Westbrook.

What exactly does he do for him? I think you have some ideas in your head but have no way of backing them up.

FWIW I think that Westbrook can be as valuable as Rose depending on the team, but I think Rose is a better fit in Chicago. He's more of a polished scorer but saying he's "a lot better" defensively is a bit of a stretch.

No one would want westbrook over rose.

I would, Rose looks good due to all the ancillary weapons:

Boozer
Deng
Noah

Your assists go up when you have three guys that can shoot, versus 1 guy who is constantly double-teamed.

Russ is stupid good, and he only had 3 turnovers last night...he keeps that stat down and he's money in the bank.

His only weakness is some emotional stuff that gets in the way of his awesome.

Remember he isn't a 1 guard...he's a scorer.

No. People hate on this dude when he insists on taking the last jumpshot of the game. And he's not a good shooter. And he's playing next to one of the best shooters in the league.

This IMO is a clear example of people not watching games closely.

Kevin Durant has really, really struggled to get open. He has possibly the best perimeter defender in the league guarding him, being physical. And KD is too skinny and doing a really bad job of getting open.

There's been multiple instances in big spots in JUST this series in the final minute where you can see a play was clearly called for KD, shot clock winding down, KD can't get open at all, so Westbrook improvises and has to force a shot late in the clock. But people don't see the stuff that happened off the ball, they only see Westbrook not passing to KD and forcing up a tough shot.

A great example of what I just said. Though this time, KD did shake off the defender enough to be open. But battier wasn't guarding the inbounder, and stepped right in front of KD, so there was zero chance of him getting the ball. And Westbrook gets it and has to force up the game winner.

IT amazes me the bad rep that Westbrook has. Pretty crazy IMO.

hat's supposed to be Durant's shot. The plays are designed for him.

But for some reason, it ends up going down to Westbrook taking a fallaway jumper.

We must be watching different games lol.

What you said is 100% correct, but the the reason is fairly obvious, Durant isn't getting open.

And I'd say in this series with KD's matchup against Allen, I'd want Westbrook taking the last shot, because Durant can't get anything, for the most part, but a really tough, long jumper off against Tony Allen.

Durant has a cadre of all-team defenders to deal with against the grizz...

It's just a bad match-up for him, whereas Russ can nearly score at will against the grizz guards...

if you have Westbrook, use him.

KD WILL get his...35 points is plenty.

well put...NBA is about match-ups, and Scotty is trying to maximize his,

everyone should take note, while the game went further, they guarded Durant further and further away, it led to Durant scoring in OT, and gave him room to put the ball on the floor.

And I can't abide by the best scorer in the NBA right now not touching the ball in key moments of pivotal playoff games.

he needs to step up

1st, get open finally

2nd, hit jumpers consistently

the thunder don't really run plays right now b/c 3/5 of their lineup is typically shitty offensive guys

Quick hijack: What did you do for 200K SFP?

Back to the topic, I personally think Rose is marginally better right now, but they are pretty damn similar players.

So, are you now picking the Bulls in the East?

I know u picked the Heat, and said they'd probably win 70.

Then when the Celtics beat them twice, you freaked out, overreacted, and picked the Celtics to make the Finals.

So, I assume now you're on your 3rd prediction, right?
