Easy for me to disassociate the sports Olbermann from the msnbc Olbermann, accomplish as I did with little effort. Can't be a closed minded dolt, sorry.

The show looked and sounded interesting. Then I saw his face and realized that he was the man who was mean to George W. Bush, Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, and Glenn Beck. So I changed my mind and changed the channel.

I really like him in sports. Hard to separate him now from his other gig though... and it's not his views that were really the issue but the petulant way he expressed them and acted.

Wow.

So, you only surround yourself with people with whom you agree on everything?

I hated this guy on MSNBC. He's pretty good on ESPN. Low level intelligence and being ignorantly hard headed prevent people from enjoying life more.

He is this generations Howard Cosell. Howard was opinionated and pretty smart. If Howard got into politics he would be as liberal as Olbermann.

I have to agree that Olbermann on sports is one of the best there is.

If you want foolishness then Chris Berman is your man. If you want vapid play by play that Joe Buck is your man. I'll take Keith over the nonsense you see on the NFL pregame shows.

Olberman has interesting opinions that I frequently disagree with, but he backs his ideas up, usually in an interesting way. He's exactly what I want a talking head to be -- interesting without being a total blowhard.

I don't want people who parrot my beliefs. that's boring.
