Dis he fake that injury last night after sealing the game with his first FT and tried to show how great of a player he is by shooting the second one left handed ? Definitely exaggerated if not he was totally faking it
because only hate would make people jump to conclusions that someone would stage an injury. this would be entirely inconsistent with what James has shown with regard to injuries.
His previous protocol has been to say he's invincible and shrug them off.
quote:
Apparently, he wanted to take a timeout to get his elbow stretched or looked at,' said coach Mike Brown. 'I did not pick up on it at the time, so he shot the free throw left-handed.' "
He had 3 shots at half. 12 for the game. That is not consistent with his normal shot volumes.
Here's an idea.
Maybe the dude is fricking hurt.

as someone who is usually a lebron fan, that was disgraceful.
the dude was obviously trying to showboat. he buries the first free throw with no sign of distress and then POOF, his arm magically stops working so he has to shoot with his left hand? gimme a break. and im not saying his arm doesnt hurt, it probably does, but he still was trying to show off by making a free throw left handed. bottom line - if he was so hurt he wouldve shot both free throws left handed.

just take a look at lebron's field goals in the series...
first four games (avg): 12.5 fg / 21.25 fga
game 5: 5 / 12
i think it's safe to say there was something going on
Good point. Still, I don't understand why he shot the first free throw so nonchalant then had to switch. He didn't seem to be in any pain after the first FT. Definitely a weird situation.

After the game one loss in the orlando series last year he collapsed at center court with "cramps" immediately after the game ended.
After the series ended he immediately anounced that he was having surgery to remove a tumor or something or other. OMG Lebron played with cancer!
I remember another occasion he dunked it too hard and hurt his wrist, wasn't sure if he'd be able to go the next game, blah, blah, blah.
Miraculously he was able to go.

and that's fine, i just think it's stupid that people on this thread are being labeled "haters" when one could make an obvious argument that he was showing off.
btw, i went back on the dvr and watched the bench's reaction right after the free throw and you can see daniel gibson laughing and mouthing "he says his arm hurt, he says his elbow hurt", and laughing some more.

Actually growths like he had in his mouth are consistent with HGH usage over time. Just sayin...

It was a benign growth in his jaw. It had nothing to do with his play in that series.

You would so slob on lbj nob
Posted on 4/28/10 at 1:44 pm to hg
You spelled knob incorrectly, and you're also missing the "'s" after LBJ. Just an FYI

Doesn't take away the fact

I think you need to google search the definition of the word fact.

Let's also ignore the fact that his biological mother is about 5'3 and his biological father is barely 6'0.

He shot left handed so everyone would glamour about how "great" he is that he could win the game left handed.
Just like the thing with 3 point shot and the eye.
Just Like all the skits he runs pre game
just like him dancing on the court during the middle of a freaking game.
This.
He really annoys the shite out of me.

I really feel sorry for you. It's sad that one person you've never met or ever will meet plays such a big role on your life. You must spend days upon days dredging up info on Lebron to satisfy your own inferiority complex.
Next I'm hoping for a statistical break down on how many fouls Lebron gets with each ref based on the ambient temperature in the building - it cant be far around the bend.
