1) I don't think we would've beaten Cleveland

2) This team just feels like the Beta. Always has, always will (i.e. 90's Jazz). I don't know if it's cause we blatantly stole the team from Seattle or it's the curse of the Based God. We just can't get it done. Maybe we would win if we had Harden (LoL)

Whatever it is this team just doesn't have "IT"
They'll always be a great test for a true champion. Even if Durant came back, I still don't see it with the Warriors and LeBron around.

FML I'll go away and melt now

Hard-hitting analysis.

They have a championship, from 1979. Their owner stole it along with the rest of the team

You sound identical to my brother in law. By the way, I think he may actually be retarded.

Wait what's this?

He also said this after game 6. Brilliant to the "t".

The Jazz problem was they only knew one way to play: Pick and roll with Stockton/Malone over and over and over. 18 years of that come hell or high water, beating their head against a wall. Jerry Sloan and that front office was the definition of insanity.

The Thunder's problem is they have two superstars who don't compliment each other and have never figured out how to function down the stretch of close games. IMO, they'd have a ring by now if Durant and Westbrook just switched personalities. Durant is a more efficient scorer who can get any shot off anytime he wants because of his height and wingspan, but he's often passive. Westbrook is an alpha but plays out of control, turns it over and takes bad shots in crunch time.

Yeah there was a bit of sarcasm when I posted that. But don't let me ruin your narrative

Very ignorant post. Pick and roll was the number one offensive approach during that period, and the Jazz also played a lot of fast break ball, especially between 85 and 95. Malone was also a very effective post up player. Did you even watch the Jazz?

The Jazz never finished higher than 6th in fast break points from 1985-1995, averaging a middle of the pack 12th in that time frame. Meanwhile, they scored the highest % of points off pick and roll in the league 12 times from 1985-2003 including the highest % in league history in 1997 when 68% of their points came directly off the pick and roll.

So to answer your question, more than you apparently.

I wouldn't say that. Donovan was a huge upgrade as a coach over Brooks. If Durant stays and they lock him and Westbrook up, I think they'll get enough pieces to win. They have a good nucleus.

Adams is a lot better. Kanter is good too. Ibaka is a great player and you know what you have with Westbrook and Durant. Plus, they're young. Durant needs to be patient. I think they have the pieces to win a championship and win it soon.
