Impressive that we didn’t have to use him at all and still swept.

The Lakers are missing an all NBA guard, have a 41 yr old as their best player and a white point guard. Chill.

Lakers would have been in the series with Luka. Could have won game 2, would have win game 4.

Still think OKC wins the series, but would have been different.

I know Jalen Williams is out but OKC had Ajay Mitchell and Jared McCain to replace him. Lakers had Jake Laravia and nothing.

I blame Pelinka even more than injuries. His roster philosophy is flawed. Never valued a power forward. Time to move on from Lebron, and if AR wants over $30mil a year, I guess he can be in a sign and trade because at best he shoukd be the 3rd star, not the 2nd.

The Thunder in the playoffs so far:

8-0 record
+16.6 scoring margin
50.9 FG%

No other team in NBA history has done all of that through their first 8 games of a playoff run.

If WCF Game 1 is on May 20..

OKC regular rotation players will have played 8 games in 41 days.

This is a crazy stat about Brothers:

Tony Brothers called 14 consecutive fouls on the Thunder before blowing his whistle on the Lakers for the first time tonight with 1:05 left in the 4th quarter.

The Thunder have beaten the Lakers in all eight meetings this season, the most consecutive wins against L.A. in a single season since the 1976-77 NBA-ABA merger

Maxi Kleber — $11,000,000
Deandre Ayton — $8,104,000

Presti did it again! And he got refueled because he did not win GM of the year and has 2 first round picks plus a second rounder.

Are you legit special needs? Your favorite team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, did what they were supposed to do, and that's beat a team that is short-handed, and no, Luka and Williams are not the same. You average about 20 posts per day since you started here. There's more to life than the OKC Thunder and this message board.

Well to the OKC fans from a Laker fan. You kicked our arse

The fans did? A sweep was expected, and the fans had nothing to do with the outcome of the game. Their favorite team dominated your favorite team, nothing more, nothing less.

So obv the results from that game dictate what would happen in the playoffs correct?

Yup, you're definitely on the Spectrum. My team is out, so I really do not care; I just find your behavior here amusing. I do not need to "cope" with an activity that I have no involvement in. But again, my entire self-worth is not completely tied to a team winning or losing.

I don’t understand so much hate on Lebron for the results in the late third of a career most would have already retired. 2017 and 2018 featured GSW teams that begged Durant to come form the greatest team ever after losing to LeBron in 2016. 2018 also featured LeBron with nobody in that Finals.

2019 - LeBron with a bunch of young Lakers was head for a top 4 seed and an injury ended his season somewhere around the all star break

2020 - Won a championship. Deal with it.

The rest had either glass man not being healthy or simply older LeBron with not good enough squads.

Why discredit this man right now?

You really do care and are having a hard time trying to cope with the loss. All you have is to call posters names like a grade school kid. The hate spews out from your posts.

Thats a coping mechanism.

I’m enjoying the ride. Not often a small market team can compete with the big markets. And guess where most of the sports writers are based. If you guessed big market cities you win a chicken dinner. And guess who pushes certain narratives about players and teams. Right again, those dame sports writers.

I am really enjoying the complete meltdown of some of these writers who absolutely hate a small market in a red state is beating their big city blue market teams. This is not supposed to happen.

Now? I have never liked LBJ since he folded his tent and moved to Miami. And had a very public national broadcast to announce it. Then bragged how he was going to win not one, not two, not three (and so on) titles.

He’s a bandwagon player who shopped around for titles. Not one was earned by him without doing that.

And whats ironic in a reverse way is Clippers went shopping for a title too. And thats how OKC ended up with SGA and a bunch of picks.

I hope LBJ retires so the sport can move forward and be better. Lots of young emerging stars out there to leave him in the rear view mirror.

He got so bad and catered to that Lakers even brought on Bronny. He forced that. OKC has a player (Ajay Mitchell) who was a 38 pick. And he was great vs LAL. Just imagine had LAL brought in some good role player instead of being forced to bring in Bronny.

Glad to be done with Lakers being spoon fed by media for this season.
