OKC/LAL Mon Night Playoff Game 4 / Thunder Sweep Lakers

Game @ LA @ 9:30pm on Amazon
Can LA win and avoid the sweep?
Will this be the last game for LBJ?
Since other West series is tied at 2-2, earliest WCF would start is over a week away. Winning tonight would give OKC a long layover. And by start of WCF JDub will have had a month off to recover from injury and likely could play.
All Star Luka is out
All Star JDub is out
Brooms are circling the arena.

Zero chance. And I'll be the first to admit I was wrong. I said okc would win 4-1.
Good thing this isn't the only game tonight.

OKC is the better team
Lakers are missing a first team all NBA player
Their 2nd best player is at about 80%
Leaving the burden on a 41 year old.
Celebrate the win OKC. Lakers will be better next year.

Luka is a little more than just an "all-star"....

Did I read that correctly?
LeBron is leading the series in Points and Assists?

ON the record.....
I'd like to say LeBron will score 30+ tonight, play one of his best games this postseason and the Lakers still lose.
ON the record official stat line:
36 pts
7 ast
6 reb
Unfortunately.... Lakers lose by less than 5

The King will play a fantastic game. The King will not let my Lakers go down 0-4.
I'm predicting a full comeback with Lakers winning the series.

No. With Luka, this might go 5. OKC is a nightmare matchup for the Fakes.

Like it would matter.

You continue to impress me with how stupid you and the okc fans continue to be.
This might be the dumbest fan base on the entire site.

Full comeback would be insane but I expect the refs to help the lakers tonight and they might even win. I hope it works out this way.

Stonehog isn’t wrong. We have 2 games vs Lakers this year where Luka played:
12 Nov: OKC won 121-92
2 Apr: OKC won 139-96
So we have actual games to show Luka doesn't make them better vs OKC. He is a defensive liability. And he needs the ball too much which stifles the game and ball flow for LA.
There is no proof they would be better with Luka. Part of why LA has made the first halves close in series is defense and doubling SGA. With Luka there is no way they can do that.
Its all about matchups. When he was with Mavs they matched up vs OKC well.

Only world where that happens is if Luka came back at some point....
Lakers + Luka look very content with moving on. He will be on the first flight home to Slovenia, likely right after the game tonight so he can see his family.
I'd say some time in June you'll see videos surface of him playing/practicing with the Slovenia team.

I sometimes wonder if a team up 3-0 would do a quiet tank. If they lose OKC gets another game to stay fresher. I think long layoffs can hurt momentum. If they lose its because they mentally didn’t prep. But the long layoff helps get JDub back for next series too.

He falls in that Jaylen Brown category right?
Would be interesting to see him outside of OKC and see if he can carry a franchise.
2nd fiddle kind of guy. Team progresses without you...

In the two games he played against OKC this year he was a -31 and a -25.
Like I said, wouldn’t matter if he played. Lakers would still be 0-3.

So the Spurs are going to the finals, you agree right?

NBA isn’t like baseball, I think they like to have the rest period. But it is a possibility
