Saw Dwayne Allen for Indy do the exact same thing today and got a no-call. So conspiracy debunked.

meh, okay but the 49ers once lead in this game 31-3. Make excuses if you want but they should have put them away by now.

And even if the 49ers win this will be the narrative. Nevermind how hard it it is to go into Foxboro this time of year and win the game, it will presented as evidence that the 49ers are no good. Absolutely absurd. You'd think they're playing Vanderbilt out there.

1.5 quarters of bad football won't change my perception of this team, regardless of tonight's outcome.

It's not as if they suddenly aren't elite defensively, don't have a great coach, great rushing attack, etc.

Fair enough. should be a good finish though.

And I won't be taking anything away from the 49ers either way.

In response to the op

The niners are like the playground bullies.
Yeah they're big, but up against someone the same size they're suddenly not so big. The teams the niners lost to this year run well and have good front 4s on d (and the niners have only lost to 4-3 teams).

As for tonight, niners won 3000 miles away, gave up a fumble that was about to be a score, missed a makeable field goal and I'm pretty sure the best player on that D was hurt like half the game because Justin Smith just wasn't himself, and got outplayed by his backups when he eventually went out.

Saints fans can literally find a reason to blame anything they don't like on the refs or Roger Goodell
