This is not true.

I've discussed this with several black people recently because of the show on TV. Unanimously think he's innocent and was framed by racists.

I'm black and think he was guilty, so stop speaking in absolutes, and go put on another Phish album.

I spoke with several people, among those several people it was unanimous. No where did I say all black people thought this. Chill.

In fact, his statement was a much broader brush than mine was and in the opposite direction.

And no one listens to Phish albums silly.

Really, the people you talked to makes it unanimous across an entire race? I bet you here in CA I could go ask 100 whites who they voted for, and there's a decent chance they'd all say Hillary.

Does that mean I would entertain the thought that "White people unanimously voted for Hillary"? Of course not, because I know not to use blanket statements, and I know not to use ridiculously small sample sizes as anything more than a small sample size.

I'm glad Larry and Bernice from Accounts Receivable were nice enough to share their opinion with you.

Him not ending it in the Bronco has to be in the Top 5 most tragic things that happened last century. The world would be a much better place if he had killed himself with Al Cowlings at the wheel.

Hell he could have made it rain red even earlier on Kim Kardashian's pillows. That would have been even better.

I hope he gets out and admits to everything. There is an extremely large chunk of the population (mostly of a certain demographic) that is adamant that he is innocent, and would love for them to be trolled.

At this point it's very likely that he has convinced himself that he didn't do it. He isn't exactly the most stable and when ppl tell a lie for so long they usually start to believe it

The shoes man.... he said he would never where those ugly arse shoes... yet there is a picture of him walking across the football field with THOSE on. The evidence was overwhelming..... it's just unreal that he was found not guilty.

That single pic clinches it and there's just no way out of it. That photo was found AFTER the trial. A lot was made of those clear footprints in the blood / how rare the Bruno Magli shoe was at the time, BUT no one could link OJ to them and he swore he'd never wear those "ugly shoes"
. . The photo would have been the game changer, just came too late.

I recall seeing Tony Randall, Mr NYC Lib, on a talk show at the time of the case, and although he was there to plug something he insisted on bringing up OJ. He said the case wasn't about murder -- it was about racism.

Certain people don't care if OJ is guilty. It's all about getting revenge for 400 years of injustice.

Serious question....these days when you see signs that say "Free (insert criminal's name here)", was the OJ trial where that phrase started? I watched the ESPN documentary the other night and saw all the "Free OJ" shirts and signs and it had me wondering..

well yeah, that's probably why he fled from police for hours with a gun to his head in the back of a white bronco

Mr. Simpson killed two people. The Robbery stuff by itself would have never put him in prison for nine years. The system doesn't want O.J. Back on the streets.

I think he is gonna get out soon though. I think he has been a model citizen in prison. I would imagine he will be smirking for the cameras in about two years.

Man, you continue to misread this. It was unanimous among the people I talked to.

Read my first sentence again.

quote:

I spoke with several people, among those several people it was unanimous.

Then my second sentence I further clarified:

quote:

No where did I say all black people thought this.

I am not sure how you continue to miss this

He won't be out long. He's a sick, violent man. Wouldn't want to come into contact with him anywhere.

Given he has no prior record, I would bet on it as well. Regardless whether people think he was guilty of double murder or not, he was acquitted by a jury, and the parole board can't use that as a mitigating factor. They aren't required to grant his parole, and they very well may not release him at his first parole hearing, but I would be shocked if he served anywhere near the 33 years he was sentenced to. He's already been paroled on 3 of his convictions. He's serving time still for agg assault with a deadly weapon. Can't remember if he was ever convicted of the agg kidnapping charge. Not sure about California, but in TN that carries a minimum 25 year sentence (max 60) with no early release eligibility.

Thanks for dropping that knowledge on me...I did not know that.

I bet most of the young whippersnappers who post on this board thought it started with "Free Boosie"...

You're post is false. I think the more accurate way to describe it would be that older black people defend him. The younger you are you probably feel like he did it.

There are some interesting documentaries out there.

His son is painted as a sociopath.

What's funny is he basically got convicted because of when he didn't get convicted. Shady dudes stole his shite.

Regardless there was and is reasonable doubt concerning the Bundy murders - especially all the new information. And that "mountain of evidence" especially the Bronco never materialized. He just slaughters two people and the entire sidewalk is DRENCHED in blood and OJ's car has two pin-pricks of blood (something that could be taken from a vial) ? WTF?

Bronco evidence and lack thereof never made any sense. OJ must have called Uber or Kaito that night.

Barry Scheck did a fantastic job for the defense but people only wanted to focus on the "he did it, so who cares how bad the prosecution has been in trying to prove the case."

Every black dude I work with thinks he's innocent.

These guys also think Chem trails are real and firmly believe that Michael Jackson was murdered, so take it with a grain of salt.

For the record, I love these guys. They just have a different mindset when it comes to stuff like this.
