Just got back from the tourney, followed the Bubba, Stricker, Simpson group most of their round. Bubba put himself in some tough spots with the driver but just wasn't playing Bubba-golf today. Pulled tee shot on 16 way right in the mulch (almost drilled us). He was only 110 or so out and put it in the bunker. He did drive it to the fringe on 13 but only parred the hole. Simpson and Stricker were playing well. Saw Stricker heading to the practice area as I was leaving, I told him nice round and he actually took a couple of minutes to talk...seems like a really nice guy.

The crowds were pretty good sized today for a Thursday, if this weather holds it's gonna be packed on the weekend.

I'm out here right now on 11 green with Toms, Els and Watney. It is blowing pretty good. I think the gusting winds are the problem. Totally unpredictable when they get over the ball. Especially on this stretch that heads dead in to it.
Damn Toms has missed 2 fairly easy birdie putts on 2 par 5's. Els is looking really strong. Watney struggled for a little stretch but it's ok cuz his wife is smokin!

He is. Just hit his first bad shot all day really. Drove it well right in to the mulch on 12. Then bit a beautiful recovery to 6 feet. Wow. He is on fire.

I like Rickie Fowler because he's in the Bubba watson group but what is it with girls that are getting so wet over this guy. These people I know their daughter who never watches golf in her life or the family are hoping Fowler makes it over the weekend to go see him. He's getting non golf fans to follow him
