Off topic from the WGC..although anything on topic is on hold for now...I'm playing my first round of the year tomm . Colonial CC here in Memphis(where Ol' Al Geigerger carded a 59). My first time playing it, only downside is that it rained last night and is supposed to rain tonight. Free round though so I'm not complaining too much.

Maybe go bowling instead.

It's been spitting all morning and supposed to basically do the same throughout the day and night. First time in a while I'm actually hoping it rains to cancel a round just so I can play it in better conditions. Hoping the guy that bought the round realizes that we could probably wait a week or two and play it when it's dry and warmer.

Nah, we went to his kid's school auction a few weeks ago and he bid on/won a round for 4 ppl out there. For some reason decided he had to do it tomm, and well I'm not one to pass up free golf so we're scheduled to play tomm

Raining in Starkville.

At least I'm not tempted to go play instead of study. Though bowling sounds fun....

Yes it's my home course... I'm the tournament coordinator and outside ops manager.

Course is gonna be a little sloppy but it will dry up fast!!

We will have balls in the air at 1 is my guess

Ok I know you're a good golfer, and since you play this course a lot, how do you think you would do in this tourney? Let's say you get to play the 16 seed... The conditions could even the playing field maybe, how many holes do you think you'd last

I knew when I saw pictures of that snow that a 7 am start time today wasn't in the cards. This is strange for sure.

We would have half the field through the turn by now.

See, science don't know.

I make a lot of pars out here from the tips... They don't play the tips tho... I could last a while... It's match play so kind if a crap shoot.. Maybe 14-16 holes?? Course I could get crushed in 11 too
