Interesting. I just honestly think the Jets are the biggest joke of a franchise in the NFL and I think they get laughed off the field tonight.

I think people will be surprised at how one-dimensional the Pats look though. It's not a great matchup for them with the injuries they have. Jets do a good job of containing TEs and sticking close to shorter routes, which is why Peyton struggled for long periods against the Jets D last week.

Even if it got there, I seriously doubt it would be at 7 long enough for the casual bettor to capitalize.

I am staying away tonight. On paper the Pats cover this spread 9/10 times. The ONLY thing that concerns me with this game is the fact that the Pats played on Monday 10-6, Sunday 10-12, then play tonight.
That is three NFL games in 10 days. That fact Combined with the weather and 10 point spread, I am staying away.

The main reason I like the Jets is b/c the Jets front 7 is very good. In dry conditions, I think the Pats cover all day.

I agree that the Jets are likely the correct side. The total is low enough to presume this a game where NYJ can keep the Pats below 28 points or so.
Rex Ryan is a good divisional dog as well. The Pats are not good big favorites, either.
Still, I can't invest just yet. This game has an eerily similar feel to GB/Minny a few weeks ago.
