In reality there are a myriad of reasons for any combo of things to happen. My thoughts on this game are that the wazzou defense sucks something terrible. Stanford should score at least 35 points in this game. Therefore, if I think wazzou covers I think game goes over. Certainly could go either way, but that wazzou defense is spectacularly bad. I also think wazzou can put up points on Stanford.

I don't think Stanford is great, but I do think they're top 15 caliber. They were incredibly unfortunate to lose to both USC and Notre Dame. This is a team that is better than their 3-2 record IMO. A couple different metrics support this.
I also think this is a bad matchup for Wazzu. Stanford has an excellent pass defense.

Right, but if Wazzu puts up points and still doesn't cover then they really hit the over. There are way more scenarios where Wazzu covers and it stays under than scenarios where Stanford covers and it stays under. If Stanford covers, they'd at best have to hold Wazzu to 17 points for it to go under.

Stanford defense is probably the best they have had to face this year. WSU looks like they haven't found their sea legs after the 60-59 game last week vs Cal
The offense of Stanford is really struggling considering WSU defense.
