TTT, what's the deal with UMass? My picks so far:
Auburn -16.5
Kentucky -7
Tennessee -2.5 (drinking the Bray koolaid)
USC -10
UCLA -17
Waiting to take some of the rentawins playing SEC teams. Hoping UAB, Idaho, and Fla Alt get a half point each.

Staying the hell away from the UCLA game. I hate taking them after a big upset. On the other hand, Houston's defense is baaaaad.....

5dimes users, I registered and deposited but have one question. Is there a way to risk a fixed amount of money? I don't really know how to phrase it, but can I choose how much I risk rather than choose the "to win" amount?
I tried to bet $20 on TAMU but it puts me down for risk $22 to win $20. I would prefer to be able to choose the risk amount rather than the "to win" amount, ie risk 20 for 18ish.
I have used bovada and it has always been the other way around, where I choose how much I can risk and it tells me how much I would win.

2* TAMU
If Baylor can beat SMU by 25, the aggies will cover.

USC and Arky State can suck it.
2012 totals
1-2, 33.33%
2011-2012 totals
16-7, 69.57% overall
So, who are the safest picks this weekend?
Here are some lines that "jump" out at me:
Louisiana-Lafayette (+22.5) at Oklahoma State
Virginia Tech (-12.5) at Pittsburgh
Arkansas State (+24.5) at Nebraska

Look next to the field you place your "dollar amount" in (Should be to the left). Should be an option "To Risk" and an option "To win"

What do y'all think about Kansas plus 21? I figure coming off that upset loss, they should be able to stay within 3 TD's... Or are they that bad?
Posted on 9/10/12 at 12:56 pm to LSUJuice
I saw this and thought that was a pretty huge spread as well, but I don't know enough about Kansas to make a play. I know Weis is coaching there and even he had struggles running an offense in his first year at Florida. Not sure about this one.

Utah starting QB is done playing football. BYU looking good.

I'm so fricked on that Utah game. I took them at -3 before the season started.
I'm waiting til mid to late week to lock a couple in this week. I need to recover mentally from the beating I took this past week.

Um ... in case you missed Friday night's game, that is probably a blessing in disguise.
Utah would have rolled Utah State if it wouldn't have been for Wynn.

Was going to say the same thing. The back up looked way more impressive than Wynn.

Rolled Utah State is a big statement. I'll bet against a team rotating two QBs like Utah did after Wynn went down anyway.
Plus Riley Nelson is a beast at BYU.
