Tots, why do you like Pitt so much except the overreaction to the Youngstown loss?

The overreaction is the main thing. But also underdogs on midweek games are a great bet. Pitt is also returning a few players who were suspended last week. I know none were major contributors, but they still play. Its not a big bet, just a half unit right now at -117 and another half if it goes to -110

Pitt +3 1H may be a better play as Cincy will probably come out rusty being their first game

Fair enough. Just value opinion and wanted to hear it. Im feeling good since the line is moving. Might make a play closer to game time to try and middle/hedge.

Everyone is seeing Pitt lose a terrible game to an FCS opponent last week.

while there is obviously no transitive property with betting and if that is why ppl are playing their money on cincy then they should find a new hobby; how in the world can that clown justfy disregarding a loss to an FCS school? makes absolutely no sense as that game is just another data point toward capping the game.

pitt is on its 3rd different offensive scheme in 3 years and on its 6th different head coach. cincy is at home, on thursday, opened at -2.5 and immediately crossed the key number of -3 within minutes. money is coming in on cincy and the line is still moving in the *right* direction. this is why i like cincy. a legitimate argument can be made for the other side, however that tweet was not it...

i do not disagree, its same the reason many jumped aboard the okie state bandwagon w/ the blowout win over savanna state

Possibly...my bet on Okie really had nothing to do with the HS team they played.

88% of the money is on OkSt. This is such a HUGE reverse line movement.

Oh well. Almost laughable. Hope Zona's QB goes down and Vegas gets rocked.

Any idea why the line is moving so much on this game? Really like Neb -5.5 and Ok St -(whatever it is now). Nervous about the line moving though.

Tots - you taking Pitt +6 if it gets there? If it does I may tease pitt up to +12 with LSU -18. Thoughts?

Sometimes the "who" is more important than the "how much".

Both bad numbers. The idea of teasing is to cross key numbers. By teasing all the way to 12, you are wasting 2 points as 10 would probably be the number I would stop at. Same with LSU, 18 is a terrible number. IF I had to tease that game I wouldn't want to go past 20 as 19 and 18 aren't key numbers. I'd probably go all the way to 13.5

See this guy's tweet, it really does make sense:

betting sports you must think outside the box. betting cinci minus the points with pitt off fcs loss is thinking inside the box

Just did jerking off motion in the air with my hand.

"outside the box" Great fricking analysis, Nemo.
