Does Vandy score today? I'm hoping the Gators come out flat on offense, because Vandy doesn't stand a chance.

The ingredients are there. It's just that most Alababa teams fund their identity early on, while this one is having trouble staying physical(on offense). Maybe people think they finally put it together...? Another thing is LSU leaves a little bit to be desired on defense. Don't get me wrong, it's a good defense. But the ball can be and has been moved on them all year.

So what's y'alls thoughts on the LSU line?

Why's it moving opposite of the public percentage?

They've had a few busted coverages but the D also hasn't given up very many sustained drives either.

Honestly it's the most confident I've gone into a Bama game in a while. Little bit of belief in LSU and a little bit of my belief that this just isn't as good of a Bama team, especially on the OL

I was just about to ask. I feel like Chem and Carson would be all over this line. This is going to be the longest 7 hour wait if my life.

Did I just say fund their identity? Good lord

True. Just from what I've seen, teams can run the ball. I know the numbers are pretty good, but it looks to me like teams can run the ball ok against y'all. A big factor I think is the underneath stuff and little crossing routes. Let's face it, it'll take blown coverage for Coker to hit anything deep. But he can get it going on short stuff over the middle and y'all seem to struggle with that.

Carson may be taking a break from betting, dude seemed pissed Thursday night. I don't blame him I've gotten slaughtered the last 2 weeks.

its clear the wise guys believe Bama is the superior team, while Joe Public believes LSU will cover the spread.

The advanced numbers seem to support Bama over LSU, especially when comparing defensive units.

LSU hasnt played a physical team all year, generally speaking.

This "inflated" line suggests to me that LSU is gonna struggle and the game could even get ugly.

Ftr, I want LSU to win, but this line is awfully striking if youre an LSU fan.

Vegas has also been off the mark on this game, so I don't find it all that alarming

Damn, that sucks. Hope he starts killing it if/when he comes back.

Where are people seeing 8.5? That's absurd to me.

not really, in 2013, i recall the spread was like +10 LSU and this thread (and the public) were both all over LSU

and then Bama ended up winning 38-17.

not sure about the other years, but that seems similar to today - guess we will see
