They have more coverage because it's the hardest major to win. More people tune into golf when pros shoot 75's.

yeah,chambers bay will be interesting ... they've not added a 'new' course to the rotation since pinehurst, tho it was an old course at that time ...

I wish Squire Creek would host a US Open or PGA Champ to watch these bums struggle.
Bluffs would also be a legit host if they kept the layout and brought in Jones for a renovation.

i like this set up simply for its variation from the typical high rough ... and that set up wasn't traditional before the 50s ... a little variety doesn't hurt ... chambers bay doesn't seem as if it will be a typical set up, either ...

What's funny is that when I talked with Kevin Stadler at the Zurich, I told him I always liked his dad and that I pull for him because us big guys gotta stick together. No way he is under 270 either.
