I think you've got a little perception bias. I frequent a few tennis forums, and there seem to be more Rafa fans. Again, I don't even think it's close. Maybe there were more Fed fans or closer to an even amount 4 or 5 years ago

At men's tennis forums they have a "your favorite player" poll and Federer wins running away and has for the past I don't know how many years. Rafa doesn't even always finish second.

I think most tennis forums are prob 55-45 Fed, Rafa has been creaping up steadily. It used to not be even close.

Novak needs to work on his net game. He isn't a bad volleyer, but he's not as good a volleyer as Rafa or Murray, and his overhead is suspect.
Rafa is just an amazing volleyer. He should really come into the net more.
