I wouldn't mind seeing Rickie make a charge at Rory.

Phil's last round at the Open last year was awesome. Merion was a good one too.

Ordinarily I'd agree but it's based on order of finish after rd 2 isn't it?

Supposed to be ... First in .. last out .. phil finished first today but he is first out

ETA: I have been drinking gay red wine all afternoon but I think this is a coherent post

So ESPN had original coverage at 6:00 ct but now that Tiger will be in one of the 1st groups going off, they start coverage at 4:00 CT. Interesting. How many will get up at that time just to watch Tiger play? At 14 shots behind?

Either way, tomorrow is gonna be epic.

I have heard there is a lot of rain coming Saturday. That would suck. But would be interesting.

Unless Tiger birdies the first six holes, I don't think you are going to see that much coverage of him. ESPN will probably be focusing their coverage on the leaders teeing off #1, instead of TW and the cellar dwellers teeing off #10.

You frickers will make up anything just to hate on Tiger. He isn't going out first, he's going off at the exact time Rory and DJ are going off, just off the 10th tee. They moved up coverage because the R&A moved up all of the tee times because of bad weather forecasts.

Split tees, he's got the 1st tee time off #1. The guys who finished after him with the same score have the 1st tee time off #10.

I love Tiger. I knew rain was coming. But from what Tiger has done the last couple of years, its real neat for ESPN to move up coverage. Sorry to offend but it looks kinda funny.

Now more than ever. With courses closing, golf related businesses are suffering as well.

Tiger needs to win to save the game as we know it.

Seriously I know a guy who cleans clubs at my course who is about to lose his home due to tiger not winning majors. This is bigger than a lousy golf tpurnalment.

Exactly.
When he's winning, people love golf and build courses, buy clubs and book tee times. A general sense of well being fills the atmosphere of every pro shop and range, from tee to shining tee.
With more tiger majors being squandered, the more we will all suffer. Sure, he's got his. But what about the shorty at The First Tee, a young Smash Lab candidate sitting for a commission, the next nerd dinking their way to a 72 at the state am. These are the people that need a tiger win.
