Such poetic justice that the Nats would hit one of those down the line shots for 2 runs on the Cards.

shite happens. It's baseball.

So are all Braves fans crybabies or just 80% of the ones who post on TD?

Is he under contract for next year? He is 38/39 so would have to settle for a 1 year deal

After the first hit, how is no one warming up, or ready?

Shildt is getting exposed as a horrible in game, bullpen, and lineup manager.

For him, the Braves were so shitty, that he got away with it.

Wainwright will be a Cardinals HOFer. And will always be a fan favorite. He’s extremely easy to pull for. Does a lot of charity stuff, support the other pro franchise in town, and owns it when he messes up on the field.

So Schildts dumbass again sticks with Waino too long after 7 fantastic innings.

This organization has gone full retard.

Signing Fowler. Extending Marp and DeJong. Singing Miller after Cleveland ran his arm into the ground.

Blow this organization up.

2 hits through 16IP.

They don’t deserve to be in the NLCS.

Every manager is a shitty bullpen manager. Shildt is absolutely better than most at it though.

I agree on Cardinals, he is close to 200 wins and most are with the Cards. Health has always been his issue

Yes. He came back on a one year deal and would like to again I assume.

They've been trying to throw dirt on him for two or three years now, but all he does is outpitch would-be 4th and 5th starters like Wacha. And he's been a great sounding board and leader by example for the Flaherty's and Hudson's.

Everything is with the cardinals. He didn’t make the majors with the braves before being traded

Because I have season tickets to the Cardinals.
I don't post on these game threads much. Sure as frick doesn't mean I'm not following.

Good Andrew Miller showed up today and we’ll probably have to pinch hit for him.

How did the Tigers never win it all with Scherzer/Verlander/Sanchez/Porcello?

He should have won the cy young in 2009 I think. It was back when 20 wins was still a huge deal and the bullpen blew a save in maybe his last start of the season and he finished with 19 wins.

Linecum won 15 that year

7.4 WAR vs 6.3
2.48 ERA vs 2.63 ERA
4 complete games vs 1

But the round number would have pushed some votes his way. With both under 20, the other stuff gets looked at more.

Marp does nothing well. Sad he’s still getting starts. Looks mentally broken at the plate,

Lincecum had the advantage in other stuff

Less hits, lower whip, more strikeouts, higher ERA+
