Man, this blows. Usually teams that win game 1 win the whole series.

Maybe but let’s be honest...did we expect to see them in the NLCS? Playing with the houses money now. It’s been a good year overall.

Hopefully Gorman and Carlson are the answers we need. I’d love to see Ozuna back but that’s not happening.

And yet we’re still playing while Braves fans continue to melt.

What a sorry arse organization and group of fans. Go cry into your foam tomahawks. :)

The Cards aren’t a great team. They just caught some of that ‘playing ATL in the NLDS’ good fortune. The Nats will probably sweep, unless Flaharty steals one.

I'm just amazed All of these Cardinals fans showed up only for the playoffs. I mean I can name 3 of these "fans" from past baseball threads.

I don't know if the broadcast mentioned it, but Carlos Martinez was either in the dirt or having Yaddi wildly reach for every warmup pitch last night. I've never seen anything like it before.

Silver lining: Milwaukee won game 1 last year, but ended up losing in 7. We also lost the first game in 2011.....aww, who am I kidding, they’re finished.

I still don't get how you continue to play carpenter, fowler, etc

They are NOT hitting the ball.

Then you put the guy, who is actually hitting and carried you the last month, Edman in the 7 hole?

The more this team wins, the more Mo'ron sticks it up the fans arse with his nonsense contracts and dealings. And lack of helping this team at the deadline for 4th year in a row.

BDW decided after the 2011 title, you only need to get in, going all out for a division title means little, get in, anything can happen, and this is the shite roster we get stuck with. And to the BDW ball sucking homers, go frick yourself, you deserve this Offense.

Your getting triggered, Never let them trigger you.

They keep down voting because they know it gets to you. As the stupid animation dealios said in that one movie, "Let it go, Let it Go"

am I missing something? don't want to short change you on your various melts

Yeah, I would have shaken things up to get these guys off the pot.

Martinez in RF, Edman to 3rd, Bader in CF. Edman leading off. Bader 8th.
