Boston fans,
You've got a very solid well-rounded team

Lightning got a fortunate win last night against Chicago, but we'll take it.
Points are points and at seasons end.
Those 2 points could be what the Lightning needs

Caps start the season playing like hot garbage. Are already in playoff position anyway.

That's a good sign. But they do need to play better. And I'm not kidding, someone needs to slewfoot John Erskine. Where's Matt Cooke when you need him?

Stars lost in an OT shootout which sucked cause they went into sudden death on a power play. Coulda shoulda woulda. Haven't been to a pro game in a while was a lot of fun to go back. Just wish they could see better attendance

I know you check TSN and prolly RDS for your hockey fix Fatty but check out this Star article today... good writing and yeah I know it's about the Leafs who are back in first place in the conference but I bet you won't mind...it's really well written and encapsulates a few things...

Vanek traded to the Isles. Isles give up Moulson and a 1st and 2nd round pick. That's a lot to give up by, but Vanek is a hell of a goalie and it is a huge hole in their roster. Bold move. I like it.

Flyers scored more than two goals for the first and last time this year.

if by goalie you mean Left Wing, then you're right.

It is a good move in terms of winning right now because Vanek can carry a shift and score from a lot of different spots on the ice in a way Molson just can't, but we probably do need to make a move for another goalie if we're going to do anything this year. Not sure what that move is since we just traded out 2014 first rounder but i guess we could trade away 2015's 1st rounder too.

I hope this means we're going to be more active in free agency this coming offseason, should be easier of a sell job with a good young core and the move to barclays coming soon.

At the very least I at least like that they said 4-4-3 is not good enough to start this season and we're going to make a move to shake things up. Molson and Taveres are best buddies though so idk why you move him of all people but hey what do i know.

Yeah, mistyped.

The Isles have been stuck in neutral for a long time, so its nice to see them active and doing something. You hate to see Tavares' career just go to waste. He needs talent around him.

I was actually ticked at the Isles for letting Parenteau walk. He was a sneaky good player. I think they miss him.
