Pulling for the Habs.

A Canadian team is due for a Cup man.

well we were the last to do it in 93. been a long time.

i remember it well. since then we have only made conference finals 4 times

2010 with halak

2014-shoulda made cup final had that pos kreider not hurt price

2021-made stanley cup final on a cinderella run but dastardly tampa took us out. that tampa team was stacked. nobody was beating them. we blew the team up in offseason and tanked next year(2022) and started rebuild drafting slafkovsky #1 pick.

2026?- TBD.....this is a gauntlet this year. all teams we have played/may play are very good to great teams.

tampa
buffalo
carolina
vegas/colorado

good news is this is the 1st real run of the rebuild. we should have a good 5 year window, we need lots of more pieces in the offseason.

I guess this team is pretty good, eh? I still may put a little cash on Carolina to win the series.

please do! mortgage your house on it! Each time i bet buffalo i lost! Except for my live bet in game 6. once buffalo went up 4-3 and we choked i laid down some serious cheddar on them. and won.

i need to go to HF boards and get a gif of that demidov goal. dude looked like jaromir jagr with those moves. it was sick.

Makar out again tonight.

Looks like he's getting close, and he's clearly trying to get out there, but the medical team is holding him out (per the videos from today's skate).

We just have to accept the fact that Avs need to win some, maybe all, of the games without Cale

After having a day to process the loss I think they'll come out with more urgency and hopefully play the entire game like they did the third period.

Cannot go on the road down 0-2 but they have a good chance to equalize. Just absolutely need that first goal. This team plays much better from ahead - I know most teams do but the Avs have played with leads most of the year.

I know most teams do

not us

we are terrible with 2 goal leads AT TIMES. see game 2 tampa and 6 and 7 buffalo. although we have 4 blowouts where we held big leads also. i guess it all evens out.

we play best from down 1 early. we have all year.

Wedgie looking great tonight but the D is still sloppy with turnovers

I was expecting more from the Avs this period but room to improve

I never watch hockey. But I know a good bet when I see one. So I parlayed col ml and under 5.5 goals mid 2nd. And now I’m vested and watching espn’s recap between periods.

And my biggest takeaway is half the analysts are black and I just have to laugh at espn trying to shove dei down our throats. There’s got to be what 10 black dudes max in the nhl and watching on tv combine?

while ESPN has its issues

i am not sure this is what you want it to be.

those guys were pretty good players. PK subban, kevin weekes, anson carter. all well known by NHL fans and the NHL fraternity.
