Ducks/Golden Knights boils down to the first period in this game.
Vegas snuck a 3rd goal across in the last minute that was demoralizing for Anaheim leading into the 2nd period.
We might have had a chance if we kept them to a 2-0 lead there.

I know it's common to hate the Knights, especially because they're "new money." But damn, if I don't respect their "win at all costs" mentality. They're likely bound for the WCF showdown with Colorado, and I wouldn't be shocked to see them emerge.
Tronna gotta be furious to see Marner succeed outside of that pressure cooker. Matthews is next.

It would have been disgusting if they won it that first year, especially against the Caps. But, I have no problem with their success now. Marner is a bit of a dork, but I'm happy for him now. He is probably thrilled to be away from Toronto pressure and dysfunction.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Vegas win the next two and end it in short work. They just look a class above the Ducks. Marner is doing well.
Vegas is playing good looking playoff hockey right now and if the Avs can get past the Wild, it will be a tough matchup.
