Ole Miss is 10-1 straight up and ATS in its last 11 bowl games, including 6-0 straight up and ATS its last six.
Useful information about laundry (A.k.a., meaningless random noise).
I saw your subsequent explanation that this 10-1 number is meaningful because of the way Ole Miss fans travel. Yeah, that's silly. They don't even crack the top 20 of fanbases that travel well. So, in the absence of another explanation as to why this 10-1 ATS record has predictive value, I'll kindly suggest not assigning it a heavy weight in your analysis.

10-1 against the spread is pretty dam good. It shows that ole miss is always a team that comes to the bowl games to play... and to win. Not just for a vacation like some teams. Ole miss will have more fans in atlanta, by a large margin also. Now ole miss may lose, but all of that information is useful, dont be that guy

Ole Miss fans travel well for bowls. The key word is "bowl".

Agreed. Ole Miss is always a great bowl bet. Their fanbase loves to road trip if the team is good, and this team is good.
Intangibles also working against TCU heavily in this game.

Ole Miss is traveling well to this bowl. You're an idiot to think otherwise.

TCU-3
Because they're about 9 orders of magnitude better offensively, and winning requires scoring.

This would be a fine analysis if we were talking Novak Djokovic v. Roger Federer, but we're not. And the "Ole Miss" that covered the first of those 10 spreads* is the same as this "Ole Miss" in jersey color only.
Listen, I don't even think Ole Miss is necessarily a bad play. I'm on the other side, but Ole Miss is a defensible play. But just not for the reasons you're relying on.
*Who was coach, Cutcliffe?

okay.
Fine.
you talked me off the ledge.
almost pulled the trigger on LSU yesterday too.
i'll just stick with them in my bowl pool and take another loss. The thing is still way up for grabs.
I still think Ole Miss pulls the upset though

Oh, TCU's defense sucks? Okie dokie.
But why even consider such a factor when you can base your bet on who covered a spread in a bowl game during the Reagan administration?

I am not trying to persuade anybody. Just opining.

there are reason that we pick a particular team. Obviously your reason is tcu can score. But i can counter that and say they have not played a defense with a pulse this year and that they have not played a defense even remotely as good as ole miss. See we can argue any reasons for someone picking a particular side. If your on the tcu side, great good luck. You could have just came in and said that and why, and not come in downing someone elses reasons like they are irrelevant.

Would you expect anything less? Bobbys a douche.
ETA: The guy knows everything. You have seen all the wagers he has won this year since he gives you all his plays before hand.

I'm sure no one from TCU will show up and it will be a de facto home game for the Rebs. Totes.

Ole Miss going for their 7th straight bowl win with one of the better teams they've fielded in years.
going against the magical Horn Frogs who played a list of powerhouses.
