Should be a good race. I had tickets for the race but ULM had other plans for me! 4 tests the week before finals.

My sister is up there though. She says that the place is covered in nothing but Bama and LSU fans. Hasnt seen an Auburn fan yet. Dont blame them. If the place is as covered in LSU and Bama fans as she says, I might be a little afraid to sport anything blue and orange too.


Wouldnt mind see tubby get his first win of the season. Kahne and Kurt Busch are due at the plate tracks though, so wouldnt be surprised to see either one pull out the win like Ragan did yesterday. Just please do not let Jr. win this race. Nothing like a meaningless win to bring Jr. Nation out in waves again.

I am really surprised at Tony. New the performance would be there, but he usually sits 6-10th in pts until Sear's Point and then starts making his moves.

I met Smoke at Dega a few years ago. Everyone was leaving the dirt track and traffic was real bad. I glanced over at the car to our right and there was Tony sitting in traffic like everyone else trying to get back to the track. I waved to get his attention and gave him a piece of paper and a pen. He signed the autograph on steering wheel of his rental car. Just a really random and awesome moment and will always be a Smoke fan because of it.

I hope Jr pulls his head out of his arse and makes in 4 in a row for Hendrick Motorsports.

remember, if Tony wins it would be 4 1/2 wins for Hendrix.

Not the only problem. Eury Jr. can't do anything about Dale Jr missing his pitstall once a race.

I was at Charlotte last year when Tony had it won and blew his tire on the last lap, Kayne went on to win, his comments afterward was bullshite. He said "I ran a great race, knew I had the win but had to focus", "it took determination from my pit and car to win". He only won cause Tony blew a right front. Tony was ahead by 4 secs in that race with 1 lap to go. Kayne should have said "I got lucky"
