I'm not an expert on Rankins, but can he be effective in the 3-4 that Chicago runs?

Everything I've read said he played inside in both 3-4 and 4-3 schemes Louisville ran. I think he'd be fine.

With the 12th pick in the 2016 MSB Draft, the New Orleans Saints select:
Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson
The Saints could have gone multiple ways here, as their FA signings have opened up the gate to go BPA. Ultimately Shaq was the choice, at a position of need to boot. After Lawson the DE pool starts to thin out, with only a couple of players left with 1st or 2nd round grades. This was a value the Saints couldn't pass up. His combo of pass rushing skill and good run defense will pair him well opposite Cam Jordan.

With the 13th pick in the 2016 MSB Draft, the Miami Dolphins select:
Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State
With Brent Grimes leaving Miami, the Dolphins are in dire need of help in defending the passing game. The best choice available was Apple, who has great size for a cornerback to go against AFL East receivers, notably Brandon Marshall, and also to slow down Tom Brady's passing attack.

With the 14th Pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raider s select: Reggie Ragland, ILB Alabma
With both Hargraves and Eli Apple off the board, this is the only selection that makes sense. ILB by many is considered one of Oakland's biggest need this draft. Oakland has many holes to fill on defense, but the hope is that Ragland, paired up along with Khalil Mack can sure up what was an inconsistent defense.

quote:
Former Alabama linebacker Reggie Ragland is the No. 2 ranked linebacker in this class behind UCLA’s Myles Jack, and though there are some serious concerns regarding his ability to cover in space, his ability as a run defender are incomparable to any other linebacker in this class. Ragland is an aggressive, downhill linebacker that consistently makes plays near the scrimmage and in between the tackles when defending the run.
With Oakland, Ragland would have the opportunity to thrive on early downs as a top-tier run defender in the middle of their defense while Heeney locks it down as their coverage linebacker on third down, but spending a first-round pick on a two-down player is still a risk that McKenzie might not be willing to take.

I feel like this could be a really wide open 1st round, past the first 5-6 picks. You'll have at least 3-4 guys we'll be like, "THAT guy is a 1st rounder, WTF"!!

With the 15th pick in the 2016 MSB NFL Draft, the St. Lo-- Los Angeles Rams Select:
Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
We struggled with this between Lynch and Treadwell, but ultimately what good is a WR for a team without a solid QB. The FO doesn't truly trust Keenum or Foles as a long-term option. If Lynch can put it together mentally, he has all the skills and attributes to be a franchis QB.

Admittedly, I dont watch GoT. But from pictures I've seen of that little twat, along with everything people say, I'd have to agree.
