Thigh at worst. Easily catchable. Not on Manziel.

That hardest hit of the game is weaksauce.

While I agree it was a catchable ball...

EXACTLY where the reciever's hands should have been

I thought the knees but that is extremely catchable. One could even say its good for a WR since he's not getting his head taken off coming over the middle and can slide down.
It wasn't optimal but it was very catchable. An NFL WR needs to make that catch, no ifs ands or buts.

It hit him right in the knees. What are y'all watching?

I've noticed a trend over the last 15-20 years and kids coming out of high school are dropping more and more balls. Even stars like Julio and ODB3. I'm not sure what has caused this.
Jerry Rice, Tim Brown, Randy Moss those guys dropped very few passes ever at least till near the end.
But it's an epidemic now and I can't stand it. I played WR in high school but I wasn't a starter but I only dropped a few passes my whole career and none were in a game.
Also guys are turning the wrong shoulder a lot of the time instead of just turning their head over the other shoulder, they are turning their entire body around to catch a ball on the other shoulder and they get in awkward positions that are risky for getting hit and poor fundamentals.

Knees. The announces said something to the effect of "he hit the wr exactly where he needed to, in the knee"

Moore tossing the only TD of the game

Dude got smashed.
Glad to see them not throw a flag.
But that's a personal foul if by the letter of the law.

I believe this thread was a success!

He addressed the 4th down decision, basically saying that he was worried he'd throw it too high.

I think they announced that he is going to start for them in their next preseason game

I like JFF and I want him to succeed, which is why it makes me sad how painfully obvious it is to me that he is going to get physically ruined in the NFL. Look at literally every other QB in the league that tries to run around outside the pocket like he does. They get destroyed!

One is not like the other. Let's let him play his first game before we jump to conclusions
