Did you watch that game? Down year. If y'all beat central feel free to call me out. I couldn't care less. We were a 4-6 team. As far as betting, you must be a moron to put your money on kids. Good luck to you and the trashiest trash talking team I've ever seen.

If someone gave you 20 points on LSU vs Mississippi State you wouldn't take it? I said in 4-5 posts that Denham outplayed WM tonight.

But yes I agree with you.

Watched the Denham Springs vs West Monroe.

Guess I gotta eat some crow.

DS came to play and they were not intimidated. Hats off the them, they played a heck of a game. #33 at RB for DS was a good RB.

I think WM overlooked them a little though. WMs defense won this game for them, they had one fumble recovery for a TD. Defense wins championships.

DS was leading 17-14 with a few minutes left in the game. Offense was somewhat off for WM and they brought in the second string QB on the last drive. WM drove the field 75 yds with 2 or 3 minutes left. QB connected to the TE for about 31 yd TD with about 40 seconds left in the game.
Final WM 20-17 over a gamely Denham Springs team.

Next week, it's Sid Edwards Central team.

Looks like St. Paul made their typical first round exit.

Anyone care to elaborate on this crazy mandeville/ Ehret ending?

I didn't say WM would beat Central. I wouldn't be surprised at all if WM lost at any point this year. I was just playing around with the 20 point spread at home.

And I said to everyone around me that I LOVED the way your team played tonight. Great game plan and great intensity. It's the perfect formula to upset teams. That's how WM became WM when they played against more talented Neville, St. Aug, Catholic, Carencro, etc. teams. I applaud Denham's effort and coaching tonight. They played their hearts out.

I'm surprised it was that low scoring, mind giving a quick summary?

Didn't see the game, just the score. Just got back from the Catholic NI vs. Dunham game.

sounds like it. I wasn't able to make the game, but WWL was doing their High School radio show from there so followed it that way. From what I gathered Ponchy controlled it early. Haughton got a hail mary at the end it the half to make it 21-14 PHS. Ponchy scored on its first drive to make it 28-14. Then Haughton scored and kicked back to back onsides kicks, recovered both and scored to go up 35-28. It just got more crazy down to some referee screw up that might have prevented Haughton tying it up again in OT.

Game had literally everything BUT defense, it was fantastic to watch!

I was at hospital for first quarter. I just saw Denham held the ball 10:58 to 1:02 for WM in the first quarter.

I really did enjoy watching your team play tonight. I hope you have a safe trip home.
