There were forfeits this season from that rule... Berwick got one...

It's just there to prevent the obvious cases, like Emerson Gibbs...

Just depends on who it is. I haven't been able to keep up with them that much cause I'm in college but Tidwell and Enlow are our best pitchers. Does BM struggle against pitchers who throw at certain speeds?

Pretty sure it was enforced a few times this year.

Umpires are NOT involved in that. It says so on the LHSAA site. It is the coaches responsibility to exchange the info. If the coaches aren't interested enough in it, then frick 'em. They don't want to be bothered with anything unless it is an immediate benefit to them.

BM is just inconsistent. But they have guys who play small ball very well around their best hitters. Their third starter has a good record but he is hittable.

If I were either team, I'd consider throwing my third guy in Game 2 if I win Game 1. Both aces are LSU signees who are really good. Having a No. 1 versus a third starter in Game 3 as the worst case scenario would be a massive edge in this series.

St Amant has a lefty who has started before who throws slower. I know they have a few good lefties. Should be an interesting series though. Do you know what time the Saturday games are?

Just noticed Runnels didn't make the playoffs. That has to be the first time in Tookie Johnson's coaching career huh?

Not sure, but the team was very weak this year. Maybe young? I saw them play several times and there didn't seem to be a team leader. Very little emotion with the team.

Storming pretty bad in Bossier right now.

Should move out soon, but another small storm expected around 7 this evening.

I hope Airline/Chalmette can get it in tonight.
