Peyton Davis, Airline's three hole hit an absolute BOMB in the first inning.

Brusly defeats Lutcher 4-2.
Ben Bergeron hits his 7th homer of the year to lead the panthers to the win. Game 2 tomorrow at noon.

Bowen catholic's dh hit a no doubter to right on a 3-2 pitch to end it. Ball was absolutely obliterated. Great game. A bases loaded walk in 7th tied the game for catholic. Jesuit was in control the whole way and left catholic in it. That one has to be crushing.

Jesuit's best pitcher and hitter was injured on a ground ball at practice Thursday. He can't play at all now. They were pretty much screwed in the series anyway, but the loss like that sealed the deal.

I couldn't get over how tall the Jesuit team is. Looked like a college team.

Why were they screwed? They damn near won without their best player..
