Just got back from Hahnville-Lutcher, great game to watch. Both teams are good. Told people earlier today in another thread, don't think Lutcher couldn't win.....over on NOLA.com there are gonna be some folks eating alot of crow. Some idiots were predicting HHS to win by 4 TD's.

On my way home from Lutcher-Hahnville as well. Likely the two best teams in the state. I never yelled so much at a high school game. Definitely the greatest high school game I've ever seen. I'm so proud of my brother. Played his heart out and left everything on the field. GEAUX DAWGS!!!

WM is ranked ahead of Hahnville and Neville was ranked ahead of Lutcher until WM beat them in the last minute. Just saying...

Typical Catholic excuses. They couldn't take care of business at home like they needed to.

You haven't seen either of those teams I mentioned play. I haven't seen either of the teams you listed play. What do you propose we go by to see who's best? WM is ranked in the top 20 in the nation in multiple polls. Kinda hard to just slough them off. Curtis beat Salmen, who was also ranked ahead of Lutcher tonight. If Neville and Salmen play cupcakes, they're still ranked ahead of Lutcher right now. Since they played a difficult schedule, as did Lutcher, Lutcher will take the top spot in 4A this week. Also due to Lutcher's win, WM will probably now have 10 or 11 of the 12 first place votes. West Monroe's lines are huge with 2 guys on the DL that will probably go to LSU. We can't say definitively who is better between WM and Lutcher but hopefully we'll get to see WM and Hahnville lock horns in the playoffs.

More like STM played like shite. Takeaway the first 5 minutes of the game (fumble by ofeense on own 15 and special teams miscue---safety) and STM blows Catholic out.

ETA: Catholic scores no points

Abbeville sucks, Go Kaplan!!

Abbeville lost to Derrider.

Kaplan beats Franklin 51-7. Kaplan now 3-0 and has scored 61, 47, and now 51 points.

Get down K-Town!

Westgate beats Breaux Bridge and Shaw but loses to patterson? Is Hilliard really that good? Breaux Bridge and Shaw are supposed to be two of the best teams in 4-A and 5-A respectively. IDK what happened....

Sulphur will win distirct. Barbe and Lagrange will be tough.

STM's district looks like it will come out to be Westgate or STM. That will be an awesome game. Westgate could make it far with their atheletes though. I think Hilliard will make alot of teams look bad this year.
