I was offered Deuce and Colston for Ronnie Brown
I have Portis, Westbrook, McClain, Willie Parker, Julius Jones, Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson, Cotchery, and Berrian. It's a PPR league.

Eli against Cleveland or Farve against Cinncinati?
I like Favre coming off a bye week, but they may run a lot. Either way, I think you are good to go.

True, and on the other hand, Plaxico will be back also. I guess it is not the worst dilemma to have

Eli plays at Cleveland on Monday night, and Mcnabb at SF

Eli is. I think Jackson has taken the #1 spot at Philly

i just made a move for brian westbrook
rothlisberger, patten, and dunn
for
j-russ, bruce, and westbrook
i figure westbrook's value is low and he may make the move.
J-Russ is his starting QB, and QBs score like 1/3 of your points

TY for the win.... who you want for Philly? I need a D this week

quote:Jones is great and will have a great career. However, do you really NEED Jones as Barber insurance when you have MJD? When you have a strong bench, that only wins you the right to have your bench outscore your starters on any given week. You need Andre. Guy is a beast. It looks like you drafted okay at WR, but things happen during the course of the season. I'd jump on the deal and say a prayer each week to the fantasy football gods that Barber remains healthy.
have Barber and he is my insurance plan if Barber gets hurt. I have Fitz, White, Colston, Holt, Harrison as my WRS's. I have Barber , Turner, MJD, Deuce, and Jones

quote:Only if you're in an eight-team league should you drop Maroney. Who is out there who has a better shot? Please don't tell me you're going to drop him and pick up Ahman Green. If Maroney is your starter, bench him and play a back up unless the match up is favorable for you. He's going to have some big weeks. As his owner, it's your job to figure out when.
Should I try and trade Maroney or just give up on him and drop his arse.
However, if you can trade him, make sure you get a starter for him and not a back up. If you've got other RBs, I bet you could get a decent back up WR for Maroney right now.

Too bad. You are my competition. You are in 2nd, I am in 3rd. I hope you lose every game.

quote:In the 12 years I've been playing fantasy football, I have never heard of a league like this.
I'm consistently scoring around 1000-1500 pts per week which is average.
Edwards is hurt right now and Bills aren't being run by Jim Kelly anymore. They just do not consistently score a lot of points (except on defense, where they are decent). Is Kyle Orton out there? He has another date with the Lions in week 9.
I think you'll have to grin and bear it with the RBs because I doubt there's one out there worth having. At WR, you'll be fine when Colston is back because the Saints are desperate right now. I don't like Moore and Bryant as your No. 3 option. I have Eddie Royal who may be out this week, so I put in for Steve Breaston (Boldin still out), Brandon Stokely (Royal likely out and Scheffler left with a strained groin; also Darrell Jackson has been nursing a calf issue); and Devin Hester (who has good numbers over the last two weeks), in that order.

quote:Check out the injury to Selvin Young. I didn't see the game on Sunday, but I read that he had a strained left groin. If that's true, that could be good news for Pittman. I haven't seen that Hall (is that right?) guy doing much lately.
I also have Michael Pittman, but he hasn't been getting many touches.
