just got offered julius jones and matt schaab for a hurt colston. I have no third option on rb and am 1-2. what u think?

keep colston. I have j.jones on my team and I've been trying to trade him but nobody has taken the bait yet. After the bye week, maurice morris will start taking some of his carries, and branch and engram will be back too, so they'll pass the ball much better...duckett is already the goalline back...I rode j.jones the last 2 weeks but I doubt I start him for the rest of the year.

In a PPR league, I like the royal and slaton team better than the joneses. The TEs are about even.

My issue is Westbrook in a PPR league....

Can either play Mendenhall, Slaton, or McGahee as RB. I am gonna use T Jones vs Arizona.

Then use one Slaton or Driver at Wr/Rb.

I just traded Ronnie Brown, Bobbu Engram, and Dante Rosario for Palmer, LJ, and Holt.

ETA: Earlier in the season I traded Matt Forte for Witten and Ronnie Brown.

So that means I traded Forte for Witten, Palmer, LJ, and Holt.

That has to be the best draft pick ever.

Good trade for me?

Get Chris Johnson

Give Antonio Gates

My RBs are AD, Selvin Young, Edgerrin, and Pittman.
Other TE is Scheffler.

He also has Forte which is who I really wanted but he didn't take Gates for him.

Will Johnson keep up his hot streak in TN and should I accept this or offer more for Forte?

yeah, i'm thinking the same thing. My other receivers are Colston, Bowe, and TO. I would be more inclined to do it if Colston was healthy.

im thinking of possibly picking up the ravens d this week bc they are playing the steelers without willy park.

only problem is i have the titans d and they have been scoring a shitload for me. i don't want to bench them and have them score a shitload bc of the vikings shitty o.

also other option is bills d vs stl.

I wouldn't do it. I benched the Pitt D who had been scoring for me last week cause they were playing Philly. Played the Indy D against Jacksonville.

Pitt easily scored more points. Of course, there's still the chance Tenn's D will be outscored by the Ravens' D, but I'd stick with the one that has worked for you so far.

It's not like Mendenhall is a pushover.

I'm guessing you get Stewart? I'd ask for a little more maybe before Moss has another bad week, then offer a straight up trade if that's declined.

Moss is still a big name and that's worth something to a lot of people.

Basic Strategy Question: Depth or Starting Lineup Talent?

Right now, my team is very solid, but I have been offered trades that upgrade my starting lineup (what I'll use for the playoffs) but hinder my team's overall depth. Is it worth the risk of injury to make my team unstoppable in the playoffs?

My starting lineup right now (without kicker of D):
Donovan McNabb
Larry Fitzgerald
Greg Jennings
Adrian Peterson
Frank Gore
Tony Scheffler

Notable bench players that people want.
Andre Johnson
Michael Turner
Roy Williams (somewhat)

I'm going to ask this question again...

I have:

LT
Mcfadden
Stewart
Sproles

Is it safe to drop Sproles and pick up Slaton..

I can only start 3 RB's, so one has to sit.

Yes. If you are sure you're gonna be in the playoffs, you should look at the potential playoff matchups too. You could get any rb or wr in the league by packaging one of your starting rbs with turner, or one of your wrs with a. johnson.
