You guys almost talked me out of Iowa St and UCLA.... But "not so fast my friends!"
The 43 degree weather worries me in the ucla game but utahs pass defense has been less than impressive so far. Im sure Mora studied ways to take advantage of that during the bye week

I also think beckwith should be playing middle. Welter just can't get it done. And if he isn't calling plays and being a couch on the field than he is worthless.

What is your score predictor on the game, TDAWG?
The analytics probably don't look good for Stanford. They played meh vs SJSU and Army and let ASU make the game respectable.

After looking at the #s, I still can't figure out how UCLA opened at -3.
Utah has home field and better SoS, what else?

Id rather take the over in the Stanford game than Washington. If washing is gonna win/cover the game 100% goes over. If Stanford wins there's still a good shot of going over

I wasnt taking you seriously
I've said it plenty of times, my numbers help me see the game from a clearer perspective, they are probably 60% of the reason I bet certain ways, but they are by no means a gold standard. Nobody beats Vegas at their game, they have too much manpower and too much data.
Vegas does take strong positions in certain games, they do it all the time for primetime games and they do it multiple times every weekend. I think the Utah game tonight is a good example of that. Utah's style of play tends to keep games close and I think that second half against Nebraska was a combination of factors, not the standard for UCLA. Human eyes are biased and flawed, we see what we want to see, remember what we want about teams. Every successful handicapper has some form of data he relies on and combines with personal knowledge of the teams the coaches and the other meaningful factors.

I decided not to put money on this game. I have too much skin in the game due to UW being a rival. I personally think UW hasn't faced anyone that can expose their oline. UW hasn't recruited up to snuff there. They have been pouring it on in the second half on teams and that shite won't go down in Palo Alto.
Likewise, outside of NT they are light on defense. Nunes couldn't hit the side of a barn last year. With Andrus Peat and co getting a year older and with Hogan under center, they will win by 17, imo.
I won't bet the game though because I am leery of my built in bias against UW.

Yeah. I just have a good feel for college. I look at numbers and stuff but mostly just play from knowledge. It has done well for me the passed 3 years.

Black quarterbacks from sunny California hate cold weather. If you want UCLA I would at least wait until halftime. They have started out slow every game and Utah could easily be winning going into the half.

Besides the "that's racist gif" that belongs here, I just can't remember the last black qb from southern California. USC has a long list of white qbs and I can't remember the last black qb from UCLA.

Neiher can I but it can't be good

Put it this way, I am not worried about the UCLA game here in Oregon. UCLA/USC usually shite the bed when the come to the NW. Black, white or Phillipino, the qbs don't like going North.

You only have to go as far back as the last time USC played at Oregon to find the last time they won there.

the difference between Paul Rhodes and Mack Brown is Paul Rhodes is actually fixing his teams early season woes as the year progresses
Posted on 10/3/13 at 7:36 pm to wish i was tebow
Well, this ain't good
