Hard to argue. I'm seeing a lot of SMU love but they haven't beaten TTU in 14 years. Don't think that trend changes tonight.

Also, the TTU vs SMU game is at SMU but the stadium will easily be 1/2 filled with TTU fans.

Will try and get some last minute research in to see what WMU has brought back.

Brand new coach named Fleck. Coached for the Bucs receivers last year and was hired from Rutgers by Schiano. Senior QB. Piss poor D going against the MSU piss poor O. MSU's D is always legit. I don't know if WM will be able to score.

Thanks. I think WMU defense will be improved. I saw this in the media guide.

quote:

On defense, Western Michigan returns eight starters, including its top five leading tacklers from last year.
Senior linebacker Johnnie Simon, a third-team All-MAC selection, led the way in 2012 with 103 stops.

MSU does return 9 starters but lost Bell who was pretty much their entire offense.

WMU returns 5 offensive starters including their QB who started the last 6 games of last season and their RB who accumulated 950 yards.

They bring back most of their offense, they should score enough points to stay within the number.

As a fan, i cant wait to get after them

The gambler in me? We are suspect on defense. Our backfield is a liability with youth, injury, and suspension. And Todd Grantham has everything to prove reckoning with the likes of chad morris. The 34 transition has been slow and painful. Outscoring everyone has been key

No UGA fan wants to see a shootout, regardless of what they tell you. You could easily see 100 yd games from both our stud RBs. But without stops and turnovers that can go both ways. Theres a reason its basically a pick em imo .proceed with caution

MSU starting RB has a career total of 48 yards, they return their QB and 4 WR from last season. I wonder if MSU will rely more on Maxwell to move the ball this game which is something I would be happy with. WMU returns 5 CB with meaningful playing time as well.

I don't think WMU will be able to score all that much on MSU as MSU returns a majority of their defense that was one of the best in the Big 10 last season. WMU does return their starting QB/RB which may help them move the ball somewhat. However, they do have a new coach.

WMU team total is set at 8.5.. I see a 38-13 type of game

My grandmother told me to pick Texas Tech so that's what I'm doing. It's a guaranteed winner

That is what I was thinking as well but the O/U is 45. I just can't see MSU scoring 38 points as well. MSU only won 1 game by more than 28 last season and that was against Central Michigan.

I think I am going to take WMU +28

Now to make a decision on the NDSU +14 game.

i bet:

miami -31 dynamic qb/rb duo, should put up a ton of points tonight, then piss down their leg in ACC and lose to Wake.

TacoTech -4

Tech/smu over 60

South Dakota st +14 KST has struggled vs FCS schools in recent years and SDSU is really good on the offensive side and returns their qb, who was the ket to it.

Miami returns 19 starters this year: 10 on offense, and 9 on defense.

I'm on Miami -32 tonight.

Expecting Morris and Duke Johnson to improve on their overall offense (37th overall last season) and hope the defense can make strides to stop an FAU offense that was 98th overall last year, returning only 6 starters and breaking in a new QB.

FAU gave up 400+ ypg last season on defense.

Pelini said he's going to use 3-4 Qb's tonight.

I hope that leads to a disastrous offensive output tonight to the tune of 0 points for the Owls.

I don't like a bad FAU team going up against an experienced Miami-FL team who have been covering the spread at a 67% clip over the last 2 seasons.
