Great post. I started this year and I either have horrible days or incredible days. I got like 8 units ahead and decide to take a break. May start up again soon
I've had one or two or three really hot streaks where I hit like 9 out of 10 plays. Those hot streaks are what keep me coming back.
The losses do tend to come up in bunches, but I've never had a truly awful awful run. And I've found that staying away from first round matches has helped out tremendously in avoiding bad streaks.

Let me know if you run across a strong play. I'd gladly tail

I would start a tennis gambling thread, but then I'd be the only one who posted and I'd feel like a loser.

Not to hijack the thread too much, but can I assume that the line for a tennis match is based off total number of games won by each player at the end of the match?

3 ways:
1) an odds bet on who wins. Rafa is -2800 to beat Ivan Dodig.
2) a spread on games won. So if you bet Rafa-9.5 and he wins 6-3, 6-3, 6-3, then you lose that bet.
3) Total number of games in the match. Using the same example from above, if the total was 27.5 games and you took the under, then you won.

Just throw me a hint if you find a banger.
I got Stan Wawrinka earlier today at -360 to beat Ivo Karlovic, and that was a damn steal, but the line is now -435.
Kevin Anderson -260 to beat Baghdatis is a decent line.
And even though I told you not to bet on Frenchmen, I like Gasquet at -230 to beat Tursunov in their match tomorrow. I strongly suspect those odds will move.
I think that every single one of Juan Martin Del Potro's lines are free money, so don't tail me on those. It's like a problem I have. I can't NOT bet on delpo. I fricking always bet on Delpo.

Sock is +185 tomorrow against Tipsarevic. If tipsy were favored a bit more, I'd definitely go in on Sock. Tipsy is in a slump, and Sock might be finally hitting his stride.

If Lsu wins by 4 tomorrow I will be up huge after the ole miss win.

anyone like Washington State tomorrow at +16?
Auburn's secondary kind of concerns me. A few buddies of mine here at home think I'm dumb for wanting to bet Washington State.
but why the frick should Auburn's D all of a sudden be a good unit? I could definitely see the Cougars hanging around with Auburn, just not winning it though.

Anybody like Western Michigan+27.5?
Has Michigan State ever even scored 28 points in a single game? THat team is always pure dogshit on offense.

I like auburn. Gus will have them pumped up in front of the home crowd. Auburn has talent. Chiz just couldn't do shite with it.

Here is why i'm staying away:
1) A Mike Leach offense in year two will be able to put some points on the board,
2) But Auburn has way more talent than Wash St. It can't be emphasized enough that Gene Chizik was a really really really bad football coach. I could see Malzahn coming in and making an immediate improvement, which will make everybody remember that Auburn usually has good players, but they just sucked because Chizik is so goddamn terrible at coaching football.
So on the one hand, I wouldn't be surprised if Wash State hung tight, or even won the game outright. But I also wouldn't be surprised to see Auburn have an effective offense and an SEC caliber defense, in which case Wash St will just be out-talented.

This is the one game I've been looking hard at today. I am definitely leaning WMU, no way would I touch the Spartans.
Western Michigan has experience at the skill positions and will score points, I don't think Michigan State can put up 40 points, and WMU should get in the endzone more than once.
