That Ole Miss game took 5 years off of my life. Imagine being in the stands for that one with a 4 digit bet on the line. Now imagine you have $75 dollars to your name (had to get the bankroll jumping) and your tweaking of some grade-A Nashville powder.
I went through that last night
You should post more.

Does not include bowl or championship games. Only regular season games.

My bet on SportsBook last year did include conference Championship games - I had one on Wisconsin win total. I got paid after they won they won the big 10 championship.

I agree with what Red said earlier, just looking for a couple other people to convince me to jump.
That ML looks pretty tasty.

That was definitely one of my worst beats ever.

That's odd. I would guess most do no include championship games. They should say next to the bet though.

Your view of LSU's prospects is much more optimistic than mine evidently. Hope you're right!

Hahaha frick man. I was going crazy in the bar I can only imagine that feeling.

Correct. And I just talked to my bookie and a push is a "no bet". I assume the "even" means bet $100 to win $100.
I really can't see LSU losing 4 games this year. At worst, they lose 3, I push and keep my money.

See if you can buy it down to 8.5...my guy let me do that and I only had to lay -140 for the OVER...

I'd like to think I'm a decent contributer to the betting threads. At least I was in 2011. Was caught up with a lot of stuff in '12 and really wasn't posting at all. I'll be here all season fwiw
Will post my tonight/weekend plays here in a bit. Need to put in a little more research
IMO, a great way of getting a feel for games is to lurk the message boards of whichever schools you plan to wager on. This has helped me a lot throughout the last couple or years. After all, fans of said teams have the better insight than most people who put in the few hours just to cap the game. It helps me, thought I'd share with the thread

LSU's class was/is stacked. gonna have a bunch of freshman playing and playing well this year. Rivals didnt like it but the class is top 3 class last year

I agree with this, but there are two reasons it's easier said than done:
(1) usually every team has more than one message board, and one of them is where the smart people post and the other(s) are filled with people who like to chat about the good ole days when they rode the short bus to school. And I don't know which message boards are good for a given team.
(2) even if you find a good message board, in every post you read your brain is having to perform the dual tasks of (a) reading and interpreting what is articulated in the post, and (b) trying to discern whether the post in question is smart and level-headed, massively depressed and thus ridiculously pessimistic, or unreasonably optimistic. But at least when you go to a team's message board, you don't get the shite-talking, chest-puffing factor that you get in the sec-rant.

Correct on both fronts.

I somewhat agree with that, but it's pretty easy to realize if you're on a shite message board. I can also distinguish which posters are knowledgeable about their school with the quickness
