I always hear about how it's the best game to maek money on.

But I'm just not very good at the ins and outs of Omaha.

his play there wasn't terrible.. he would get the guy off most hands except a set or two pair or a straight and if he did get called he had outs no matter what the other guy had.

avoid those NL freerolls, filled with idiots. I have been wrecking in HORSE freerolls recently. I got a Weekly Round 2 pass from a few weeks ago I haven't used. The last Round 2 I played in, I was playing beautiful poker but lost 2 races late

yall are right about online poker getting more competitive. I used to fricking own those $22 SNGs on Party Poker (RIP)

also on Party I had a dollar left and entered the daily dollar tourney and wound up in 4th out of 2500 and won $120.

I miss Party

I think it is.. I haven't played enough cash game PLO to figure that out.. I was chipping up at almost every PLO round in the half and half event in New Orleans until that *)(#)*#$*)$$#$*) Brent Carter showed up.

yeah true but he had 8 outs and thats if no one else folded a 9 or 4...

i lost $30 in one day playing cash games. NLH. i prefer tourneys but might try the PLO cash game.

When you figure out Omaha better I think your tight playing style would actually work well at it.

Nice.

I just gotta figure out starting hands and what are basically good hands post flop and what not.

I've never played it, just watched the WSOP omaha events on TV.

I play a lot more hands than one probably should pre flop in PLO but if all your 4 hole cards work together like QJ108 AA45 3467 A6K8 (double suited)

Gotcha.

Maybe if I could get my account going in the right direction I can give that a try, lol.

its close.. I like PLH tournaments.. I have only been able to play in 3 of them (3rd, money bubble, close to money bubble) because they usually don't have them around here (OK,LA,MS), but it makes for better play and I love not having to ante.

i was going to deposit $30 ever 2 weeks and just play a $30 tourney and if i won cash out (except for the $30 i deposited) and if i lost just deposit another $30 2 weeks later. but i might try a PLO cash game instead.

its hard to run it up from 50.. it seems like you have to have a decent to big score in a MTT to do it. I can remember one time on sports.com poker I ran $10 to $1000 in a couple hours jumping from 1-2 limit all the way to 15-30 limit.. But after playing more limit I realized limit was mainly a donkfest with many many suckouts in cash games even at high limits.

Not a bad idea at all.

Would be a much better idea if I could actually cash on a regular basis.
