Shel311, same as here.

I probably haven't played many tournies on there though.

yeah you've only played in 14 tournies on there.

Lol, yea.

Sounds about right. I've played just a handful in the past month, and really only started on FT right before I quit about 3 or 4 years back.

I'm guessing my ROI is in the negative, LOL.

Yeah you only cashed in one, but one tournament can turn you ROI nicely into the positive

I love the MTTS but suck at em, lol.

I played in 3 or 4 MTTs in the past month, all $5 I think and had one cash but it was for like #7.50.

I REALLY wanna get better at the tournies. I gotta work on it.

patience, figure out what your opponents are trying to do and well timed aggressiveness.. the more you play the better all 3 of those will get for you.

Gotcha.

If I do drop $100 into Stars, I'll probably play some even smaller MTTs, like $1 and $2, just to give me more tournies to play, just to gain a little more experience.

It seems like EVERY tourney I play is the same. I just hang around towards the bottom, and I'm usually near the money but low on chips and I come up short.

most of the time that means you are playing too tight.

I'm pretty sure that is a correct assessment. I gotta work on it. Plus if I go to Stars, I think the blinds would at least be a little more forgiving to me playing tight.

Man, I'm soooo tempted to bring my laptop and play poker at work, but I dont wanna somehow get caught and fired. But it would be sooo easy and I'd pretty much have an entire 8 hours to play, lol.

played in a freeroll. 8000 people. i made it to the top 1000.

had to suck out hard. Me JJ vs KK vs QQ and i catch a J on the flop. it was actually raised all in, then all in, then i called. Donk call, i could have laid it down but i was chip leader at the table at the time and would have roughly 6k left.

went out on a guy flushing my set.

I work in an ER, but I basically sit in my office and NEVER have to leave if I don't want to, lol. I basically deal with insurances for patients and making sure they have proper authorizations and all that boring stuff for there visits to the ER or of they become inpatient and have to be admitted. BORING STUFF!!!

Same for me.

I see guys doing horribly stupid stuff pre flop and I'll get an average hand and think i'm being bluffed and end up being up against a big hand, and losing half my stack early on, lol.

it's certainly an EASY job. Tonight, I've left the office once in 4 hours, lol.

I don't even bring my laptop to work cause I know it'd be even more temptation to just play a little poker.

I've never really liked that game. I like razz a lot.. and 7 card hi/lo is okay.. I was 2 off the money in one (only time Ive played 2 days in a tournament and not made the money) in the Tunica wsop-c .. Definitely get more seasoned players I busted Allen Kessler in it. played with Chris Reslock, Jason Stern, etc.. PLO definitely is my favorite non hold em game.. Omaha Hi-lo not so much..
