Good game Duke. Buckeyes just need to find more consistent scorers not named Deshaun. Defense is fine, but our bigs once again blow arse dealing with screens. Craft played awful on offense.

Those were some awkward overzealous bro hugs between Coach K and his coaching staff.

That was the best college game since the KU/Mizzou games last year.
What a performance by Plumlee. Sulaimon had a great second half as well.
DeShaun Thomas completely disappeared in the second half, but I think his teammates have to find him more.

Sulaimon was the player of the night for duke. What a lift he provided.
Give Duke a #1 seed now.

I doubt it. Curry, Mason, and Kelly are going to get a lot of looks throughout the year. He will be the featured player next year and go in the lottery in 2014. If we can get Jabari Parker, next year's team is going to be scary good, even without a center.

I agree, that was a heat of the moment comment after he exploded for that layup. Glad he's a little under-sized. Cook Sulaimon Hood Parker Plum3 would be insane and fun to watch.

DeShaun Thomas is one of those guys who I have trouble projecting in the NBA. I can see him being a tweener and not really doing very much. I can also see him being like Corey Maggette or Ben Gordon and scoring a ton of points for bad teams and making $100 million + without being a bonafide star in the league.
What do the OSU fans think?
And if that sounds like a backhanded compliment, it isn't meant to be. He was the best player on the court tonight. The only guy who will come close is Sulaimon...possibly.
ETA: Ravenel is 47 years old at least. I am impressed he can still play college basketball.

I actually think Cook being a "REAL" point guard is helping them this year more then anything. Seems like Duke always has a 2 playing there. This kid makes them better even if he doesn't score at all, and they have needed that for a long time IMO.

Thomas is a pure scorer. He can score inside outside and mid range. He's also a lefty and scores unconventionally. It really depends on what team goes to IMO.

ie the seth curry disaster at point last year

That was the biggest problem with last year's team.
I don't think the team has had a true point for a full season since my freshman year with the black Van Wilder, Chris Duhon running the show with Deng and Redick.

Scheyer wasnt a true PG but he sure did a hell of a job in 09-10.

When we got Irving, I figured 2 seasons with one.....nope 15 minutes. lol

Scheyer was a special player. He was skilled enough to play 1 or 2 guard and being 6'5 helped him at PG to see the floor so well, not to mention he was deadly from 3 and passed to guys like Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler

Scheyer could play the 1, but no way would I call him a true PG. Hell of a player though.

He was such a great player but he couldn't run a fast break like Quin Cook to save his life.
Scheyer is one of those guys who maximized every bit of talent he had.
