If I were LA I'd take Russell. Already got a solid big man in Randle. Give Russell a year to be mentored by Kobe, learn his work ethic, tricks of the trade, etc.
I was having this conversation with a buddy earlier in the week, but I think the Center position has become much like the running back position in football. Is it great to have an A1 RB/C? Absolutely. If you have the chance to get one would you pass it up given certain circumstances? Of course not. But unlike in years past having one isn't critical to a deep run.
In a vacuum, Okafor is the better prospect than someone like WCS, but I feel like, especially in today's game, WCS is the better value and could be a better starting contributor to a championship team, with the right pieces around him. Everything Willie does right is what you want out of a Center today, and inversely everything Okafor is great at is more devalued now.
TL;DR: I'd rather have Russell and and a solid, defensive, starting role-player center VS. Okafor and a role playing 1/2 Guard to build my team around.

I use to love Wiz, I'm indifferent about him nowadays, but boy is this awkward AF. Why is this happening? He's not even doing anything. Just waddling around, high AF, cheesing on the SC set occasionally spitting out a line.
