It's going to be cute for NBC to start playing "spot the celebrity" at the Kings home games in the Final, as if they littered the stands during the reg season and playoffs.
I love this clip from Conan from a few years ago after the Kings won.

The dodgers are the most well attended franchise in the history of north american sport, the Lakers were #8/7 in attendance this year, the kings have averaged a sell out for the past 3 years. So while there are a good amount of bandwagoners, there are a damn good number of legit fans

The LA Kings vs. Philly was the 2nd pro sports event I ever attended (1st was an Angels vs. A's game).
There were no bandwagon fans then, because the team sucked and the best player was Rogatien Vachon. He was the goalie.
I don't mind the bandwagon fans though. Some of them stick around and become hardcore fans.

That would explain why I can't get a trip from Nashville to LA or NYC to watch a final game that doesn't conflict with work for under $2 G's all in
It's good for the sport.

Woop Woop!
My only regret is that I'll be in class tonight when the puck drops. DVR'ing the game though, so I'll get to FF >> through commercials and Mike Milbury's bollocks.

Today is the day that Anze Kopitar and Zsa Zsa Gaborik finds out there is no santa clause.
Here's how my homer arse sees it:
Goaltending: Rangers
Defense: Draw
Offense: Kings
Special teams: Kings
Key for the Rangers is to not take stupid penalties. Key for the Kings is to make the Rangers take stupid penalties.
It all depends on whose ghost is more active: Marty St. Louis' mom or Marian Gaborik's abysmal time playing for Torts in NYC.
Going to be a hell of a series boys
Also, there may be a santa clause for Penguins fans, at least Pierre McGuire has confirmed he is a coaching candidate.

Thank you. I don't know who I want to win. I was thinking NY earlier this week. Has it been a long time since they've won? I know they are an original 8 team or something like that.
Posted on 6/4/14 at 5:28 pm to SabiDojo
they are an original six team. and yea they haven't won in 20 years. and that one they won twenty years ago is the only one they have since 1940
