Haven't seen Tomic play much... Seems like a douche.
I remember after Roddick beat him 3-0 in the US open last year with the last set being 6-love, some reporter asked Tomic if he gave up and Tomic gave a dickish response.

TDIO.
Tomic's done. It's over.

David Ferrer the tennis machine

I got Almagro over Tips. Line was -145. Thoughts?

If Tips retires because of this fricking bunyon before the mtxh kits the 55 minute mark, they will o bet me. AAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHH.

Is this dude ever going to win a Major?
Must be frustrating. He's in the top 5 like every year and loses in the quarters or semis at every event it seems
Just another second-fiddle to the Joker, Nadal and Federer.
Maybe he will get over the hump like Murray did at the U.S. Open

The thing is he is just not on those 4 guys level. Bad time in tennis to be the #5 or 6 player in the world.

Seriously
It's like
Joker
Federer
Nadal
Murray
Ferrer

Tsonga and Berdych are better players than Ferrer. They are far bigger threats to knock out one of the big four in a slam than Ferrer is. They're just a little more inconsistent and don't rack up points by entering all of these Mickey Mouse tournaments like Ferrer does.

Don't forget Delpo. Delpo is the only guy outside the top 4 to win a major in a long fricking time.

There's no telling if he'll ever be able to raise his game and his power enough to beat those top four, but regardless I just love the way that man plays tennis. He's tenacious and hyperintense and fights like a dog. It'll be a cold day in hell if you ever see Ferrer throw in the towel in a match, and I have infinite respect for that.

Tips made it 62 minutes. Winner.

For all you sick, gotta bet on tennis types, Ferrer is 12-0 lifetime vs. Almagro. Ferrer physically is not a top 4 player. Everyone else needs to pack a lunch when they play him.

Stan the man just put an arse kicking on Djokovic in the first set

Posted on 1/20/13 at 6:36 am to TulaneTigerFan
Just woke up to see Djoker in a dogfight in 4th set right now. Must go back to sleep...

3-0 Stan in the breaker.
If Wawrinka wins this set, I fully expect Novak to fake an injury at some point in the 5th

Stan.
He has one of the best one hand backhands in history. Not kidding. I think Novak rolls in the fifth, but that was an epic set point.
