Did Taylor Dent "retire" to become an analyst? Or is he injured or something right now

Dent retired due to back troubles. He had several surgeries and tried to come back but decided to hang it up.

BRING ON MARIA!

Lisinki isn't bad either for a practice chick.

Serena crashed out. The draw just opened up nicely for Maria. Potential Maria-Kvitova semi.

Agreed. She never loses, she just beats herself.

Maria shot out up 3-0, now 3-5 Lisicki serving for the set.

No idea. Catchy though.

Maria battled back to 6-2 in the 2nd set. Third starting now.

Maria is going to rape her in this third set.

But after dropping 6 straight games in the first set after being up 3-0, I guess anything can happen

This match might be the closest Maria gets to losing in this tournament.

Lisicki serving to stay in it. 5-3.

Joker looking like he's on the Miami Heat roster.

Today has been all kinds of surprising.

Serena looked utterly dominant in her previous matches I honestly didn't expect her to lose.

Maria was doing work early nearly blew the match and then turned it on again to win.

Tsonga losing really is surprising, I had him as the only person who could challenge the top 4, and possibly beat Murray this tourney. Pretty crappy match, the players definitely gave away a few sets since it was in the heat of the day.

Djokovic looks like a machine, his serve is awesome right now. I don't know if it's just that Hewitt is that much lower a level than the current Djokovic but this match is incredibly lopsided.

Well he has just soundly beaten 2 in a row. Karlovic and Tomic are both big guys with big serves and powerful forehands...
