Sorry you thought that Jarvis Crittendon ,Arenas, Felton ,etc...were 'role models' since the NBA made them wear Oxford shirts .

Sure you & your parents were also disappointed that the immacutely dressed OJ Simpson tracked the bloood of 2 victims all over his expensive Bruno Magli shoes.

So insecure, and trying to project it onto others.

Now you're just making assumptions about people. I don't really care about all of this, but you have been blabbing about the same stuff for this whole thread. We get your point. You can relax now.

Baseball & Hockey ' good old boys' can have all out brawls that are amusing & part of the game.

NBA players can't leave the bench area because you know(' thugs'), so the paternalism begins.

Difference: baseball brawls usually happen out by the pitchers' mound, far away from any fans. You never see fans jumping onto the field (same deal with football)

hockey brawls are in a rink surrounded by 15 feet tall glass...

basketball fights are much easier to get fans involved since nothing is separating them from the court, (see that Nuggets/Knicks fight in 2006) hence why the suspensions are so much more harsh. more possible liability there

Google NHL Hockey player/ fan fights on YouTube.

15 foot flimsy glass or not there some classic brawls WITH fans. Good stuff.

More liability for fans getting injured like when Lebron gives a young fan a concussion courtside?

NBA players have been barreling head first into fans every night for decades & shall continue & I see no NBA concerns with ' liability' sitting courtside paying foolish $$$$ for those seats.

The NBA had ' thug' image issue & not a fan liability one

Odd how one sentence from many is picked up.

My point being those face , neck , arm ,etc... tattoos worn by today's NBA ' metro Sexuals' are far more a detriment in business than the clothes of Pre dress code players.

Fair enough. But to act as if he's some kind of "role model" is BS.

Eta; he started a brawl last year in St. Louis.

But he doesn't dress like a ' thug' ( although he is wearing a hoodie in the OP photo link).

Only if Cecil Collins had been made to dress like a metro sexual or wear Oxford shirts at LSU he could have been a great role model for Black youth.

Lived up to his potential.

That isn't true at all.

The guy with tattoos everywhere will still get the interview if he is wearing a business suit. The guy who walks in the room with a dew rag, Starter jacket, and pants at his knees is getting escorted out by police.

You've made some fair points, but you've gone off the rails here.
