Bowl games outside of playoffs aren't worth much, but if gus loses to minny, does that burn some goodwill he earned this yeae?

I haven't seen the Michigan/Alabama play... but I thought the Clemson/tOSU play was an incomplete pass in live action... I believed it after review... and I believe that referee got the play right
